Very happy with that, those middle three hopefully will interchange. I can see Ramirez giving them a torrid time...don't be surprised to see us get a penalty today. Have to say that Adkins interview was exact carbon copy of everything he ever said at Saints, you can understand reports that training was getting stale etc.

I sometimes think refs have laid big on number of cards given by how harsh or lenient they can be.

I can't see a quote from Adkins that tallies with what's in the OP to be honest. He says about being respectful, but that there is ruthlessness when it comes to managers in football...now we all agree that Cortese hasn't shown anywhere near enough respect for what he did, but I think it's fair to say Pochettino has shown nothing but respect for his predecessor.

Well, despite the indifference on here I would be gutted if he left. Honestly believe he'll be a top, top player in a few years time. People saying we should let him go because he hasn't fulfilled his potential, or lived up to his promise...it's his first season and he's only just turned 22 for god sake.

I think the way it was translated made it sound like he was trying to disrespect Adkins, when he wasn't at all. Should he similarly thank George Prost for suggesting Schneiderlin to Lowe, or Simon Jordan for running Palace poorly forcing them to sell Fonte so they could stave off administration, or even the surgeon who fixed Lallanas irregular heart beat allowing him to continue playing professionally? And whilst we're on the subject of post match interviews, it really annoys me that they play out the whole process. When someone speaks a foreign language on a football show like that they usually play the translation over the top of the person speaking, but when it's Pochettino they play out the question, the translation, the answer and then the translated answer. BBC thankfully have recently started doing it properly, but Sky are still showing the whole process...it's like they're trying to bring more attention to the fact he is using a translator. Look at the deep conversation him and Lambert have in the second half when subs are being made, it's clear his English is good enough.

I didn't say that at all did I, merely pointing out that there may have been a lot more to it than just him cheering a goal.

Of course it's never right, but I agree that if I did the same I wouldn't be surprised to end up with a punch, and I certainly wouldn't make a deal of it.

He must have felt a right mug. Not only giving it the big i am and acting like a tit only for the goal to be disallowed, but getting a bloody nose and thrown out to boot. In all honesty, he was probably glad that he didn't have to sit through the rest of it.
