Not really. If both keepers get injured and we end up having to stick Lescott in goal or something, we're f*cked. But if we had a lot of injuries to (for example) our strikers, we could still stick Young/Gerrard up there and they'd do a job.

Would be good for him, a level where he'll perform well, doesn't have to relocate...and probably a pay rise to boot.

It's Bosingwa for starters, and he CAN defend. Ludicrous thing to say. As for Kalou - pretty sure he's been playing on the right/left wing for Chelsea this season, and we need a right winger...

Yes, but people are focusing too much on his specificity - they will be scouting the whole of Africa, but the main part of their focus will be in the East, probably even where the academy itself is based. The examples he gave are going back to him mentioning Africa as a whole. As for Jaidi, he's far more suited to the job than anyone else we have associated with the club.

As I said, he does mention Africa as a whole but specifies that East Africa is an area they're interested in. The countries he lists are just examples of places where we've seen players come to this country and be successful.
