Broken Orange Pekoe. Strange moment in life finding out what that actually meant on a family holiday in Sri Lanka 16 years ago. Tea was Tetley's until then but visiting the factory and discovering that what went into "normal" bulk teas was the leftovers. Tried a load of the proper stuff...bleah Found a great shop in Hong Kong near the fish market with half dead fish flapping around. Proper green tea or some weird dried flower thing. Came home with about 8kgs in Vacuum sealed bags that I still treat myself to even today They have these weird cups with an insert with holes in so brought a couple back. Stick the dried leaves or flower in the insert fill with water and let it stew for 4 or 5 minutes The leaves re-hydrate, then dip the tiniest amount of honey in and arrrggh perfect on a really hot day

Or By that time Matt had realised he had screwed up big time and was being used. He could not back out as events determined that somehow Pinnacle came up with the 500k and were the exclusive bidder. Matt stated that he would back anyone who made an actual bid. Up until that exclusivity, only one group had made a bid that was acceptable to Fry. So Baxters' point really depends on WHEN NC asked Matt to switch his support. Was it BEFORE teh exclusivity, during it or after the Pinnacle bid failed? I posted about this when Matt came to Dubai and the Dubai Massive spent several sociable hours over a number of Malibu & Cokes. I would bet a pint that Matt said "When your bid is accepted by Fry I'll support it" but I keep repeating the words he used when asked why he didn't support LLS's group at the time "I don't want to be made someone's PR ***** ever again." NC & Liebherr came out of nowhere, think it's all about the when NC asked

Lipton Yellow Label. When I first got here I spent hours searching for proper tea. Now English stuff tastes just wrong.

That the eagerly anticipated Forum Match re-run would have happend. Yeah I know it's only 10:24 the night before over there but my Outlook Calendar just popped up the reminder for me. Oh how lucky it was canned, don't have to see Granty's knobbly knees, or listen to OldNick talk himself into the stand again. Anyway the reason Owen was in town was that he didn't get the cancellation notice and was getting acclimatised before ripping OldNick's team a new one

I the irony stakes, just thinking through what Hypo posted, it could really hack off our fishy friends if we demolish a smart new 32,000 seat stadium to move out of town into a mega stadium... We've got two stadiums, you've got fook all again... Sorry just having a daft dream there. Voice of reason says, "beware foreign man offering sparkling beads " - Some Indian's family after he sold Manhatten to whoever..

Going way way back to the original SCW job spec (before the wants to be a manager & Redkrapp shenanigans) he was brought in to develop specialist coaching skills (a shooting coach would be good after we had so many shots off target last year!) but also his real brief was to put a mechanism in place to take the kids from the Academy level to bring them into the first team. At that age, some are ready at 16/17 (AOC Theo Bale) but some need a bit more time (Brian Howard for example) and we let them go too early. IF he really is into all that type of back-up structure then things really could get interesting. We have the funds for the team AND the support. Hmm I could almost get excited by THAT prospect

The rediscovering of my really old album collection continues. Tonight the GF found Tom Jones Reload from '99 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dn17aYhXudA She's listening to that and going OMG what a great song. I answer Whadda expect it's Van Morrison, and I get - who? Ah bless Some great duets on that, especially the Van Morrison one. The great news is found a whole bunch of my old cassette tapes today. Back in about 84 they made fake tapes illegal here and they got sold off at about 10p each think we all bought about 200 each. Seemed to have about 50 or so left time to dig out an old cassette player, can't play them in the car this time of year they melt! At the time we bought anything by anyone who sounded like we might have once heard of them, a really weird mix from M People through Scorpions to Johnny Cash - lol

The Cider Bus??? Being an old fart this one is more about immersing the new GF into the whole culture and vibe. So I'm looking for randomness (And desperately avoiding getting dragged to see Beyonce (I turned down free tickets when she was here & fooked if I want that to be my big last night moment) So I want to be surprised, I want to see The Kaiser Chiefs having missed them "In their Heyday", Paul Simon & Morrisey after that not really that bothered maybe a special guest slot somewhere as they are alwys fun, my mate over in blighty is also digging around & researching, but will listen to Worthy FM, get the vibe on the day and be simply and wonderfully random for a change. But then I had a scoot around the old pics & vids I took at that memorable night in Abu Dhabi, and although won't get so close, think I may just have to go and see Will Champion's Garage Band again... Everything had blown up with the flooding from the massive thunderstorms, but the Band played on... Will see if I can post a vid up but it's taken 4 hours so far and it ain't THAT long! -
OMG here it was and we missed it.... Manager spotted in Winchester looking for house..... "hello love yeah, found one it's beautiful, but we have to move quick as MON & Michael Owen are interested in it, has that ash cloud moved yet, can you fly down or get in the car now...."

 Wow some classic posts on this thread. A lot of misguidance as well looking at the wrong Liebherr links. But a lot of sense said at the time as well. Oh and a lot of old user names or old users with new names using their old names? Good evening reading

Just to put that into context http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-united/8533559/Manchester-United-top-60-million-in-Premier-League-earnings.html So Manure have ONLY THIS SEASON become the first club to earn 60 mil and yet the few with HOW MANY seats were spending 42mil in wages on PLAYERS! Add old Storrie teller on his wadge, The Management, The coaches.... Incompetence really does not come into it Oh and their salary next season is going to be between 8 & 10 Finally that makes some sense. Our wages in the year we went bust were forecast to hit 9.4mil Now. Hold on..... Saints wages in our year we went bust were 9.4mil. AND WE WERE PLAYING THE KIDS! Dear Poopey fans. Have we got news for you. Hope you ain't bought your season tickets yet Oh oops - just remembered They ain't got any kids LEFT!

Well, I suppose Paddy O'Bama proved his ancestory today. We had a real LMFAO moment over dinner watching Sky News when they showed the picture of the Book of Rememberance at Westminster Abbey. Ole Paddy wrote some kind words, and signed it and then dated it 24th May 2008 Quality. The leader of the free world doesn't even know what fecking YEAR it is -
I was trying to remember whether there are any rules about actually being in a CVA from the Football Authorities. So I googled football association CVA regulations. It linked me to a pdf Which I opened to find A blank pdf file http://www.football-league.co.uk/staticFiles/78/3/0,,10794~888,00.pdf perhaps that is the loophole:-) Or I just have an old Explorere version!

No BTF very wrong and a nasty accusation. The fact that you know enough about the world to take them to nice places (the best restaurants with Dom Perignon) instead of the Dog & Ferret & OSH when you do it or you give them nice big rocks or nice surprises from Armani instead of just breaking the bank at Victoria's Secret. The higher up the Designer chain you can afford, the more the fitteh looks like Imogen. That says more about Women than it does about Ugly Old rich men tbf. It's only Young Thick Ugly Rich Men (like some alleged footballer with big sticky out ears) that have to pay for it.

I believe that Bananarama had the answer to that It ain't what you do it's the way you do it..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=doHQjoQmr1E Oh and Ryan's Problem

Some people find success to be an anathema to a particular outlook on life or on their politics. No idea if that applies in this case, but think Dune nailed it.

Pass on our best wishes and warm thoughts from us crazy guys stuck out here in the Desert. And we still hope & pray he can get back to SMS one day and that we can get across to cheer him

Old Fergie is damned clever. Send someone over to Iceland drop a handgrenade down a Volcano and mess up poor ole Barca's travel & training plans. Almost as if he knew he needed to unsettle them as much as .........
