  1. Wee moosent let thart get too them. Thanks Dave
  2. We scored - oh no it was just a roar for getting a free-kick
  3. Wow! Get away, Really? Never saw that... I just saw Pork, there's a shortage you know, they can't fly any in for some reason
  4. Worringly old enough to remember being horribly depressed every Saturday night when the music for that show came on the telly & Mum & Dad sat down to watch it..... So I apologise, how about hello, good evening and welcome Meanwhile only thing worth mentioning is the ref gives everything to Oldham
  5. Ref sounds a good 'un
  6. If the Volcano keeps going and the no fly ban stays in place will that mean the PL are unable to Parachute Payments into Football Clubs?
  7. You should try living with the Telco service providers we have down here. They've just launched their latest mobile range
  8. They still won't let me book my flights. I blame Nickh for the Volcano, he was so sure he was gonna get whipped again that he went and started it just to keep me away
  9. So, impact locally. Local Supermarket - Tomatoes are now Ethiopia not Holland, Apples etc all from South Africa. Prices around 30% higher And the bad news - 2 weeks delay http://business.maktoob.com/20090000459902/Passengers_face_2_wk_delay_as_flights_resume/Article.htm?utm_campaign=Night-Newsletter&utm_medium=Main-News1&utm_source=Night-Newsletter&utm_content= Again, the authorities in EU sit there with their PC hats on saying do nothing IN CASE it is not safe. Instead of sitting there saying This is a Disaster for many people what CAN we do? Surely lawyers can draft limited liability waivers for people to sign regarding any "risk"
  10. Yes but. That is the law, however the Football Authorities will not provide you with permission to play in their competitions UNLESS you re-pay Football Debts in full. So 30% of football debts - no football next season. HMRC took it to Court and lost and THAT is why they are kicking up a storm and why AA will have problems
  11. I can't understand why BA Virgin et al haven't already started to ferry people back to Spain. This is now getting beyond an annoyance and becoming a major problem for people and their money. While it is great for those on expenses, there will be a lot of maxed out credit cards from self emplyed or ordinary vacationers. They have aircraft stuck in Long Haul destinations, it needs the fecking Government to get their fingers out of their backsides and stop worrying about how they look in a TV debate and do do something. Get the Long Haul planes into Spain, Italy or Greece and set up shuttle runs from there to get people back. The ship that arrived in Spain took back 450 people, wow great publicity effort sod all effect on the 100,000+ stranded This needs brains and creativity. Extra Trains etc, but oh no, the Ruling Elite don't give a flying (lol) feck as long as they get their expenses paid on time, and of course, for the idiot Brit politicians, the EU is "abroad" and all they worry about is how the EU regard them so that they can get the gravy train jobs when they retire
  12. In a word, No
  13. America Plus on Saturday Nights on Orbit Showtime Network Guess that doesn't help you much though
  14. Final at Wembley.... Only two days after the Forum Match.... Reality heart & head says no. Karma indicates otherwise
  15. Episode 6. Feck. But while it is damned fine TV and no doubt damn accurate and really shows the horror, can't help thinking many households will be having the same problem i am. this is Bloke TV. The GF loves the interesting and human side and is being educated but the whole flying legs thing.... Never needed that with John Wayne. Anyone got some water?
  16. Will challenge you on that one. The arrogance wasn't what led us in to admin at the end of the season.... The arrogance was believing he could come back at the START of the season and save us. We were already a basket case and should never have started the season, BUT what he did was to buy us time. Whether we would have got a better solution at the start of the year is really debateble, BUT by lasting until we did, Cortese found Markus and the rest as they say will be our new history. He should never have come back, that was the arrogance, but he was a part of the sequence of events that have left us on the start of this new journey. Maybe one day when we get back to the PL we can at least understand that whilst still calling him an %@#$( %%^^%
  17. It was voted for by the Board as I recall the press statements. There is a story that was told, something along the lines that a meeting was held with Barclays by somebody who was not an officer of the club. The story implies that notice was given of a reduction in the overdraft limit soon after that causing a last minute scramble. That is the story I heard. There is only one piece of fact that I do know but could never prove which is that on the day of the Press Announcement of the appointment of the Administrator, the actual Press Conference was delayed. During that time there were frantic efforts being made involving a well known professional organisation of specialists in The City. Sadly, those efforts came to nothing. Luckily we got Markus. The "we were popped because of a 4 grand bounced cheque theory" is pretty close to the truth IMHO, but it should be realised that Wages were due very soon after admin was announced, so our position appears to have been untenable. Dave Jones is still around, why not ask him on match day?
  18. Was that your Landing Light?
  19. If you have a normal ticket and if you make sure that you check-in on-line (As soon as it opens - like 24 hours) before your flight then you should be OK. The problems are that twhat were the empty seats on your flight get filled by newly re-booked passengers from cancelled flights. They will "overbook" those flights as some idiot always leaves his passport at home, but online check in AND get to the airport minimum of 3 hours before then you should be fine. BUT if the flights stay grounded then you will be a long way down the rebook queue. Oh and if you have a stand-by, airmiles or Staff ID ticket you'll be there another couple of weeks as they will bounce those. Oh if it is a Middle East airline (not Emirates) you MIGHT have to re-confirm your reservation so check online or with travel agent
  20. Notice in the press it was Cameron's suggestion  Nice to see the Navy being used for something useful for a change  Just let Eric know where to send his 10,000 refugees TDD
  21. You have to register at the Embassy and stuff, but think the deadline passed a few weeks ago. TBH an expat who votes isn't an expat yet. Why should you have an impact on the lives of those back home. No taxation without representation and all that, so no taxation don't need no representation. And any of this Expats to pay tax to cover all the money THEY p*ssed away on social security for the asylum seekers who ran away from where we now live - nonsense, guess how they'll find you - yep via your registration with an Embassy
  22. But on a serious note WHEN THE FOOK did we become Morris Dancers? Meanwhile was that Fos1 I saw in there? No wonder he's not fit enough for the forum match this year. I hope you all popped into Deacons just down the road from the station to encourage the local Few with your motivational dance routines
  23. Big call. 4-5-1 has been working, but is MS the key to that formation? Is Wotton's defensive mindset and distribution capable of allowing us to play that way or do we go back to 4-4-2. On that tactical decision hangs our season. Do Oldham play football or do they like to chase and harry and close you down? If they play football then Puncheon in the middle works. If they close us down and stop us playing will the midfield have the time on the ball to create or do we need someone sticking their foot in. Get it right the season will keep twisting & turning. Get it wrong and Samaritans will be busy
