Am up to Episode 4 Thx Crabby. The GF finds it way too realistic and brutal, I get the feeling the bits she's seen aren't even scratching the surface yet. Very good TV, covers lots of grounds but the one thing I find a bit disconcerting is the hopping about in each episode/difficulty in sensing how much time is passing. Just seems it would have benefitted from some indication of (for example) how long they were on New Britain, where the objective and outcome simply seemed to be to get wet and go nuts. Similar difficulty working out how long Leckie & his chick were getting exercise, was hard to tell if it was two days or 10 months. Minor niggle, enjoying it and more downloading overnight.

Debt can be secured and payable in a fixed time frame such as a Mortgage Debt can be unsecured and you simply pay large amounts of interest such as a Bank Overdraft. Man Utd & Liverpool have excessive amounts of debt on fixed terms, incurred by people buying those clubs without any of their own money - ie they borrowed money which they secured against their shares in the club and created a Fixed Secured Debt. These debts are repaid by money being taken out of PROFITS. That money has weakened BOTH teams. Southampton had debt that was a MORTGAGE, secured with fixed repayments paid for out of PROFITS. In the case of Liverpool & Man Utd, the fans have rebelled and have campaigned against the unjust takeover regulations that have allowed their club to be damaged. In Southampton's case the fans rebelled protested and boycotted the club against the lack of ambition shown by a sensible management plan of making profit FIRST not football first. Portsmouth accrued Unsecured Debt, they never had ANY Profits giving them ANY chance of repaying to a fixed schedule. At the HEIGHT of the World's BIGGEST ever credit bubble they made not ONE effort to convert their debt into Manageable Proper Secured debt. They made NO effort at ANY time to build a sustainable business model to make ANY type of profits to SERVICE that debt. And what did the Few do? They sang the names of the idiots who have destroyed their club. One Brain Cell, that was all it needed, just ONE thought for your future but no it was all p*ssed away by GREED. PFC's debt position is not about cheating, it is about GREED. Their Management and their fans are no better than the idiots who created the Sub Prime mess, Lehmans or Greece. You are in the SH1T because of Greed, and ALL that money is sitting in OTHER PEOPLE'S pockets, not one DROP remained in your club. Stop trying to defend the Greedy sods who have screwed you over and stop trying to compare your mess to others. Get off your asses and start fighting the REAL Villains or you will be sitting there going "What Happened?" They are not Cheats, they are just simply REALLY thick. You have been CONNED you idiots along with the rest of the Media & The football family. There is a HELL of a difference between being the victims of a Con-man and getting relegated through imbecilic management decisions.

If we don't make the playoffs and anyone dares diss Mr Pardew...

I assume that because man U failed to beat Blackburn on Saturday their fans will be baying for his head and saying he has underperformed this season as some will on here. AP is not the best manager in the world. But at the moment he is OUR manager, and we have had our highest WIN percentage for a season in years. Yes it could be better, but at the same time we COULD replace him and get a manager who achieves a Sturrock/Wigley/Grayesque season. Within 10 points of a Play Off place is an OK season with the penalty and the start we had squad wise. Within 5 points will be a good effort. Any closer or making the playoffs will be the least that some would have expected but would be a bloody marvellous achievement on the back of one of our most enjoyable seasons for MANY a year. Changing managers = yes sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't would be a stupid risk -
Wow, what a cracker from Morgan

So would I but the Girlfriend objects and Stag weekends in Bangkok aren't the wisest idea at the moment.... meanwhile back at football. We have moaned about not tweaking our tactics in games. AP is doing simply what all the leading PL & European teams play. IF it works it tears poor teams apart - we played 4-4-2 at Wycombe & Tranmere and... We had a good run with it before Christmas. Then we signed Barnard and went 4-4-2 which in fact was our 2nd shaky spell of the season. Just now it seems to be working..... We'll all be moaning Saturday if it doesn't work & singing AP's prasies if it does. That's why we love football

There are names you can add to the list. *** from Hungary, **** from Bahrain, but at the end of the day it comes down to one name we do know, Mr Fry from Barclays changing the overdraft limit after a visit from someone, shortly before said My Fry got a new job. Leave the bad dead old days out of it and focus. This is about the next 5 weeks. If we don't then the If Only's could eat away at what WE as fans need to do and what the TEAM need to do which is simple. KEEP FECKING WINNING

Jeez, you're up late! And I agree with Eric, c'mon, own up who really hacked Alp's account :-) No injuries, no suspensions, no brain farts on selections, we could, just maybe possibly could do this
-
Once upon a time.... Watching the PL on TV they used to say "Saints have not won a game after conceding first for 997 years" or close to it.... and today we conced first and win 1-5 When was the last time we had 3 games that we scored 5 goals in?

A fiver on them not existing next season may be a good insurance coupled with a bet on double relegation. -
Almost certainly taken by Chanrai to cover the cost of the Admin process

Had to go out for a business meeting. Sat in the Exec Lounge at the Intercon Hotel. He didn't bat an eyelid when I asked if I could sign in to Saints player on his laptop while we talked. Did get a reaction when Lambo scored, and even the waiters came out to see what the noise was about when the 3rd went in. Then the taxi ride home, 4 & 5 go in, Walsall go ahead, I pay the taxi and Udders score two. Maybe have to spend the rest of the season in taxis. Fine result, sounded like an awesome performance. After the Tranmere & Swindon results all we can keep doing is our best.
-
Perhaps because with a CVA agreed and Chanrai's money paid back (with interest) IF nobody comes forward to buy the club THEN the two of them can walk away fees paid. This was hinted at by an IP mate of the family. All it required to see was to take away the "Emotive" Issue of the Dead Parrot being a Football Club and ASSUMING they were actually interested in anything OTHER than getting their loans and fees out.

Oh, another question. Have the Fraud Squad been notified? Submission to FA PL of their financial state in January Submission to The High Court of their financial state in Feb AA's statement of debt in the past week. All of which were legally binding statements, and all totally and incomprehensibly different That's the PL's fault as well of course

There is only room for one personality disorder at the Forum Match and I am all three of them
-
Nope. I'm with you mate, and quite possibly before the final. I have asked specific questions on here that nobody else answered, but I'm thinking that Chanrai & AA have sorted out C's loans and AA's expenses and woosh, it will be "Two days to find a buyer or I have to shut down shop"
-
PMSL So, when you exceed your Credit Card limit because you can't pay for what you are buying, this is an UNFAIR punishment by the bank? When your Landlord kicks you out of your caravan because you haven't paid the rent, the Government is to blame for not giving you enough Dole Money? Al Fahim did not have ANY money of his own. Your Directors did NOT perform their LEGAL duty to the stakeholders of PFC Ltd - the Fans and the Employees by performing Due Dilligence. They dropped their pants faster than a cheap whore, and yet built an entire SEASON on the empty promises of an Arab. And you claim to have been punished UNFAIRLY by the authorities? You idiots should have burnt PS's house to the ground, stoned him to death, hung him on a cross. HE's the one to blame. He's the one that built your season on an empty promise THAT EVEN WHACKO JACKO saw through. You were CONNED. You could NOT afford to START the season back in August, THAT is not the PL's fault THEY didn't accept Al Fahim's penniless offer. IF you had sold more players in the summer and got your loans in THEN you could have had a case, THEN you could have had some sympathy but oh no, your idiot knew better. All that idiot had to do was to ask just ONE of the many hundreds of thousands of Brits (including Skates) who have lived and worked down here, every single ONE would have said the same. But oh no Mr Arrogant know it all knew better. Stop with the unfair boll*cks, you sang Storries name, he did this to you. You earnt it as a result
-
With the theory I'm starting to believe Oh no they are not...... Look again into CVA rules But take off the assumption that anyone at the top is interested in them continuing to play football Chanrai wants his money back. CVA is an important part of that process Let us not fall for the assumption that he gives a flying anything about the club (apart from keeping them alive long enough to get his cash back)
