Hey, I've got an idea to stop all this arguing, - stick the unsold tickets on price drop tv, then the price starts high, satisfying some on here, then reduces till they're all sold, satisfyingly all the others complaining about not selling out! Urika! Piece and harmony could return to saintsweb....well, for a second or two.

As I now live abroad I don't have the decision to make, but before I left, I found it difficult to justify an afternoon costing me more than £100 when both my teenagers beg me to tag along, I think an away trip is more of an occasion so easier to make a self justification of a financial blow out on the basis of it (for me and my mates at least) being a weekender.

Southampton & Sunderland Battle it Out In Pursuit Of Senegal Striker Moussa Sow by Michael Oliver | 1 hour ago Comments 0Huddle St Mary's and Stadium of Light sides both keen on Fenerbahce forward. St Mary's and Stadium of Light sides both keen on Fenerbahce forward. Sunderland and Southampton are battling it out for the signing of Fenerbahce striker Moussa Sow, reports the Daily Star. Both Premier League clubs are keen on signing the Senegalese forward this summer as they look to strengthen their squads to avoid the drop this season. The former Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund target has impressed since his move to Turkey and has often been linked with a move to the Premier League. Sunderland having already signed striker Jozy Altidore this summer from Dutch side AZ Alkmaar, are still looking to add one more forward this summer before the start of the season, but would need to offload one of their current forwards. Ji Dong-Won would be the likely candidate to leave the club, as well as Connor Wickham, who could leave on loan again this summer. Manager Paolo Di Canio is desperate to add some real quality to his side this season, having already signed 11 players, including the likes of Modibo Diakite from Lazio and Emanuele Giaccherini from Juventus, the 27-year old striker would round off a great summers work in the North East, the Black Cats have already had a £12million bid turned down for Sow this summer, but are willing to improve that offer. Southampton are also keen on Moussa Sow, as they search for a strike partner for Rickie Lambert. Manager Mauricio Pochettino must offload a number of strikers before he signs Sow this summer, with the likes of Billy Sharp, Tadinari Lee and Emmanuel Mayuka all being made available for transfer this summer.

Don't really hate any clubs, but I've certainly got a dislike for a few other clubs fans. Apart from Skates, I have a huge problem with Aston Villa fans. Moaning, booing their team and think they should be champions league still. Especially that pitch invasion on the last day of the season at he dell a few years back. Always seam to get too close to fisty cuffs whenever they are down or when I've been there. Also really don't care for Bristol City fans, lairy bumpkins, Birmingham city, self pitying inner city low lifes. - How else? My most disliked southern club is Plymouth, ****e kit, shoyte fans, shoyte team, terrible place to visit. - Probably a few more too but I'll come back to a second helping in a while.

"I may be the figurehead" - can't ever imaging Guy Askham coming out with that! I prefer chairman with the class to stay in the background. I've met very few Italians who don't love themselves! (apologises to most of Twyford road)

Just finished watching Houston Chicago boring 1-1 draw and even Houston now adopted the crap template but in orange/white. Still looks cheap though.

I happen to have the displeasure of knowing Steve Luckett and a most objectionable person he is too, so glad they lost the contract. When we were at wembley for the JPT I asked him about running a coach and the Skate **** didn't want to know. Should never give SFC business to out'n'out Skates.

MLT hands down, if you wiki Mick Channon there's a dirty little blot on his cv that I cannot see MLT ever letting happen..."Channon joined Portsmouth"...

When I was much younger, and I'd wear a Saints shirt while away on Hols, you'd almost always have someone come up to you and speak about Saints as they'd automatically recognised the kit from afar and associated the kit with our club which (for me at least) always seamed to conjure up good will with other neutral football fans. I just don't see this years kit being so instantly recognisable to those neutrals and that indicates a loss of identity, this cant possibly be anything a step forwards?

I've just zoomed in on the picture as much as my mac would allow. For the life of me, the wording of the SFC crest doesn't say Southampton FC - sure the second letter looks like a "Z"
