A lot of football fans really don't have a clue. You only have to look at a match thread on here to realise that. According to that Armstrong was apparently terrible yesterday even though he actually had a very good game. Sometimes it takes a good manager to unlock a players true quality. Look at Ward Prowse, he always had the technical ability but was losing his way before Ralph came along and got the best out of him. Our 2013/14 team definitely had better CB's but other than that there's not much in it, although the current team has a more mature and effective Ward Prowse.

Pompey's winner was so offside it's implausible that the officials didn't notice it. Normally I'm all for them getting through in the cup so there's a chance we can play them but it would be a bit crap without fans there.

Seems like a lot of Republicans are distancing themselves from Trump now anyway. By the time the counting is over Biden will be so far ahead I can't see how the court cases will change much.

Everton have only got 1 point from the last 4 games, 3 defeats in a row now.
-
Very good and professional performance. Every player did their bit. 16 points from the last 18. Incredible.

There's probably a good reason for how it is, but if Stephens and Walker Peters swapped then at least Stephens could drive down the line on his right foot rather than cut inside and go back. Vokins must be so gutted that he's injured. We're doing alright though, they haven't had much ball in our final third.

Keeps us 10 points plus goal difference above the drop zone.

Last minute Andy Carroll winner?

It's Maine, I was watching CNN earlier when they mentioned it.

Biden now up in Georgia.

The long covid effects seem so random in that they hit people in such different ways. I only know one person with it but she's not been right for nearly 6 months now, still struggles with breathing sometimes and generally feels really tired and lethargic.

Hamble haven't been until now. Had an email at work this afternoon encouraging people to do similar and wear them when moving around our estate.
-
I was surprised they were still charging this morning. I drove from Hamble to town, then town to Southwick and there were way more people on the roads than I expected. On the way home though it was reasonably light, especially at Windhover.

Some weird comments on here. He'll obviously play when he's ready, not sure how it matters to anyone that he's not currently available. The whole point of having a squad is that there are others who can cover when people aren't fit or able to play. Obviously we all want the best 11 players fit each week but that's obviously not going to happen all the time.

Saints just sent an email titled "we don't want to jinx it but we could be top on Friday." That's that then.

Newcastle are 3/1 for the fans of an insurance bet.

A lot of that sounds similar to what that Irish chap says in his YouTube videos.

Kids to wear face masks in schools from Monday.

Probably more plausible than most of the stuff actually written in the Express.

This could be the difference between 10th and 12th in the league FFS.

All that time and money wasted on polls when it looks like they could have just asked me.

Might have been a bit different for him playing with Vestergaard as I'm not sure he's done that very often due to Bednarek being virtually ever present. This doesn't account for routine mistakes but worth bearing in mind that building up a partnership at CB is very important. Stephens had previously done that with Bednarek and they had some decent games together.

The most Saints way to avoid being top would be to go into the last 10 minutes with a relatively comfortable 2-0 lead, miss an easy chance to go 3-0 up and then and let in a completely avoidable 94th minute equaliser.
