A lot of football fans really don't have a clue. You only have to look at a match thread on here to realise that. According to that Armstrong was apparently terrible yesterday even though he actually had a very good game. Sometimes it takes a good manager to unlock a players true quality. Look at Ward Prowse, he always had the technical ability but was losing his way before Ralph came along and got the best out of him. Our 2013/14 team definitely had better CB's but other than that there's not much in it, although the current team has a more mature and effective Ward Prowse.

Pompey's winner was so offside it's implausible that the officials didn't notice it. Normally I'm all for them getting through in the cup so there's a chance we can play them but it would be a bit crap without fans there.

There's probably a good reason for how it is, but if Stephens and Walker Peters swapped then at least Stephens could drive down the line on his right foot rather than cut inside and go back. The long covid effects seem so random in that they hit people in such different ways. I only know one person with it but she's not been right for nearly 6 months now, still struggles with breathing sometimes and generally feels really tired and lethargic.
