I never have a problem finding a decent stream. The only way to stop this rip off is to not pay it. The view that "it's half the price of a match ticket" is exactly what they want you to think. Watch a stream, or go and actually attend a Non-League game where your £15 means so much more to those clubs, many of who are properly struggling at the moment.

Yeah, looks much smoother. Good work Steve.

Sounds well dodgy, especially the bit about getting involved in funding transfer deals for other Premier League clubs. Surely that won't be agreed.

7 jailed after the Pompey game although judging by the addresses they all look like their supporters. https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/18784097.amp/

Not sure why people pay anyway, even a normal monthly Sky or BT subscription is a rip off. There's always a stream available.

Here's one table we are near the top of.

Yep. Everyone was injured, Walcott had been banging goals in for the U18's and the fans and local press had been clamouring for him to play for weeks. Redknapp only picked him because he ran out of other options but has since rewritten history by bigging self up as some kind of visionary genius for plucking him from the academy and giving him his big break.
-
I don't have a problem with him coming in to bolster the squad. Will be interesting to see what Ralph can get out of him. Has Harry Redknapp popped up on Sky Sports to take credit for giving him his debut yet?

What on earth was Maguire doing for that second goal? The bloke is a complete tool. It's funny how bad Man Utd are.
-
The best but about this is that after the first line it gives a load of fans the chance to just shout "BREST" and then spend the next 5 minutes laughing.
-
We signed him from Brest He's better than all the rest Ibrahim Diallo He's better than you'll ever know
-
Definitely. He seems like a great guy and I would imagine is massively popular in the dressing room.

His did Robson Kanu hurt his arm? Did he kick himself when taking that shot or was it something that happened earlier? It was a bit strange.

Comfortable game today. Anyone who had The Athletic should read this article. Backs up some of the points I made on this thread earlier. https://theathletic.com/2101617/2020/10/02/mccarthy-southampton-sweeper-keeper?source=user-shared-article

Having just read your barrage of negative comments on the match thread I'm surprised you managed to cobble together something so positive afterwards. Was a solid performance, we never let them into the game until after half time when it was obvious that they'd come out with a bit more intent. Once we'd worked out how to counter their change in style we became comfortable again and from 2-0 played the game out easily. McCarthy only had to make one save and bar a couple of near misses from set pieces we restricted them to scraps. Beautiful goal from Romeu. I liked the celebrations afterwards, it seemed like half the players were just laughing at the implausibility of his strike.

According to this Villa met the valuation but it stalled over wages. https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/rashica-villa-deadline-transfer-deal-18921255

Danny Ings coming back to pick up his stuff before his move to Everton?

Had an email from the club just after 7pm talking about the refunds. It's almost like they read this forum.
-
Haha. It's so poor.

Just had an email telling me I hadn't used the £35 voucher that I hadn't even applied for because I'm not really fussed about Saints merchandise. Thought I may as well, so went on the website, selected a couple of things (no kits before anyone asks) and added my voucher code at the checkout only to be told it was invalid. Shambles.

Didn't watch that game, 3 penalties to one team doesn't happen very often. Were they all nailed on? Agree about Mendy as well. Was great in that Monaco team, since then and the injury he's looked a bit of a liability.
-
That and the fact he's up against better strikers who find the corner more regularly and know how to beat a keeper. I didn't see much of him for Norwich, but by all accounts he was good. Maybe he made mistakes there too but they were less likely to be punished by Championship strikers.
-
Depends what you mean by good? He's always been good, just not amazing or world class. To all the people bashing him I'd like to hear your suggestions about better keepers that we'd realistically be able to sign?
-
I'm not denying he makes mistakes, all keepers do. Obviously the best ones make less but they generally cost far more money than we could ever pay. Unfortunately we're not in a position to jettison a keeper because they let in a few soft goals, or are in bad form like Chelsea have done with Kepa. He's a good case in point for keepers because Chelsea changed his set position to the point where he's now a mess. It reminds me of when England tried tinkering with Jimmy Anderson's bowling technique after he first burst on the scene. Just because it's unorthodox doesn't mean it won't work. Kepa did this weird thing where he throws his arms backwards during his set position and Chelsea tried to eliminate it but it's actually made him worse.
