Ruining everyone's accumulator that's what.

Weird game. Should have scored more and been comfortably out of sight but let them back in the game twice and at 3-2 we looked nervous. Happy for Tadic that he got a couple and thought Romeu was good too. Rubbish atmosphere in our end. I don't understand how 3000 of us can make such little noise.

He was awful against us aside from the goal. I wouldn't pay £8 for him.

In honour of Van Dijk we should all go dressed as lesbians.

I've erased that evening from my mind. As far as I'm concerned it never happened.
-
As easy a win as you'll see. They were desperately poor, we just had to turn up to get the 3 points.

At one point near the end most of the ground was singing. Other than that it was pretty horrific. The number of people leaving 5 mins before the end must have been at record high levels. By the time a few players turned to clap the family section there was about 12 people left in it.

I don't mind the size but £4 is definitely too much. Mind you that's pretty standard price now. There are some decent interviews and the history articles are always a good read. The analysis of the opposition team is a lot more thorough than in other clubs programmes.

What happens if Liverpool win the Europa League? Where does that place go?

There's no justification for taking selfies at any time. Was Fratton Park a new ground when you were hilariously sticking Saints season tickets to your head?

Question Regarding Family Stand - ST Holders with kids
The Cat replied to JonnyLove's topic in The Saints
The light is a different colour but they don't always check. I've noticed a few people getting around the rules in there. Where we sat before there were 5 adults and one child in a group. When the child didn't go another adult would instead. This season there's an old chap sat by himself every week in front of us. Either the club don't care or they aren't enforcing the rules properly. -
No, that's perfectly normal. What isn't right is when people selfishly book weddings and things on a weekend during the football season. They are the sort of scum that are ruining this country.

I spent a few minutes yesterday gazing around at our support to look at the demographic. The group which could be suggested as lads or casuals was microscopic in comparison to say families, groups of 50 year olds in replica shirts, the half and half scarfers etc. As much as any of these support Saints by turning up they are crucially not doing so in terms of atmosphere. Still, they probably have a right good knees up on the bingo bus on the way home while uploading pics of them pulling wacky faces and videos of themselves clapping the opposition. I'd put our home support as average. Can be good, can be reasonably quiet. Not a lot different to many others, however unlike us a lot of these claim to be something special when they just aren't or are living on past glories when they used to make a bit of a racket but don't anymore.

Agreed. He generally says it how it is and has every right to have a bit of a moan. Handballs or not, their goal was a foul and should not have stood. Same as the Fabregas goal. We've had more than our fair share of ****ty decisions this season.

The last couple of times we have handed out the inflatable clapper things at St Mary's the kids have by and large ignored them which is good to see. Nothing today was more embarrassing than the big flag and hoardings wishing their Chairman a happy birthday.
-
Thought it was bad enough seeing a Saints fan wearing a Leicester scarf in the ground but that video is unbelievable. Saw loads of ours filming their celebrations at the end. Some of our fans are pathetic.
-
So what? It pales into insignificance with the amount of tv money. Would you be ok with Fist Classic on our shirts if they paid 5 times what Veho do?
-
It looks low rent. Betting firms are sponsoring loads of teams now and I'd rather we had something different than just blindly follow the heard.
-
Who wouldn't want this as our sponsor? Let's face it, we're all partial to ramming a dildo up our own holes to increase the climax aren't we?
-
Decent prices. On the face of it the cheap 18-21 band is a good move. We need to encourage people that age to come along more regularly to improve the atmosphere.
-
I'd rather be sponsored by an anal lube brand than a betting company.
-
I went to the Dell bar after the game and happened to leave just as the players were coming out. There were loads of people waiting for them and the % of football tourists/half and half scarf brigade was very high. The demographic of supporters waiting for autographs was more multicultural than that of our team.

He hasn't been woeful, just not playing as well as he can. Why does everything have to be discussed in extremes? Apparently a player is either amazing or rubbish these days. The reality is most perform just above or below their average.
