  1. That's what Alderweireld told me he wanted to do when I bumped into him at Central station earlier.
  2. He was one of the 4 players who came over to the crowd after the game to apologise. I'm guessing that shows he cares.
  3. They beat a terrible QPR team with 2 deflected goals. Before Berkley scored the first they were very average. 0-0 bore draw.
  4. I thought this was going to be a thread about the fight outside the ground after the game. Also, if you're going to let off a smoke bomb then do it in the stands rather than a cramped concourse. Thanks.
  5. Gazza played for U21's last night.
  6. Match reports are fine, yet in an age when most people can watch every game themselves online they become superfluous unless written in an interesting and stylish way. I'd much rather read reports from people who have been at the game rather than those battered out on a laptop from their bedroom before Mum calls them down for dinner. I always take more interest in the "back from the game" threads rather then the post-match keyboard warrior discussions which normally feature the most ludicrous posts on the forum because I like to know what went on at the game rather than read about what I have probably just seen on a screen anyway. Still, good luck with it.
  7. Me too. Apologies in advance if me and the 3 prostitutes I've booked keep you awake.
  8. http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=104&fid=297&sty=2&act=1&mid=2110448094 http://www.burnleyexpress.net/news/crime/man-arrested-after-turf-moor-hit-and-run-1-7003820
  9. I'd go with this: Forster Clyne - Fonte - Yoshida - Targett Schneiderlin - Wanyama Davis JWP - Tadic Long Bench: Davis, Alderwiereld, Bertrand, Gardos, Reed, Mane, Seagar (if he is in the 22 man up north squad)
  10. Did OK today. No chance with the goal, which he would have saved comfortably if it wasn't for the deflection.
  11. Exactly what we said in the pub after. We'd have picked them off on the break and won comfortably. All the quality in the game was with us. Just lacked clinical finishing. Roll on Tuesday.
  12. Nothing like a sweeping generalisation eh?
  13. Burnley fans looking for it. Saints fans responded. So I heard from before the game. No idea about after, but saw the meatwagons tearing towards the ground as we walked pack to the pub.
  14. Steve Gerrard, Gerrard Has got old and his legs have gone Now he's blaming Dejan Lovren Steve Gerrard, Gerrard.
  15. Just changed trains in Preston. They love their Xmas jumpers up here.
  16. Jingle bells, jingle bells Jingle all the way Oh what fun it is to see Southampton win away.
  17. I'm not bad. My grandad was a master baker and passed on some of his skills to me at a young age. Nothing better than the smell of fresh bread in the house.
  18. Everton vs West Ham? Shocking choice of game.
  19. Not forecast here. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2654264 This won't be like Birmingham away in 2012. Still no idea how I managed to drive home through all that. Roads out of Brum blocked, cars marooned on the M42. Spent 90 minutes following in the tracks of lorry at 30mph. Was only just past Winch that I stopped fearing for my life.
  20. A classic, despite it's current use on a sodding Argos advert
  21. Sufjan Stevens has done a ridiculous amount of Xmas songs. Here's one:
  22. This is my favourite
  23. What's his name?
  24. I first encountered that particular jape while working at Nintendo 15 years ago. Good to know people still fall for it. If I was Jeff I'd go down the pub, or work from home.
