Ties in with a post on their forum where someone said they'd had a letter from Plymouth asking if they'd mind moving their ST seat for the game. Makes sense really, I'm sure the Police and Stewards don't want loads of Saints in their ends, and Plymouth need all the money they can get. By then they'll probably be down and it's not even their last home game so no rush on tickets from their end. The way it looks on here we could probably sell another 1000 easy.

I quite like it that half our famous fans don't really support Saints, and the others aren't even that famous.
-
Not everyone is into cars. I have no idea what a 350z is and I've only seen Top Gear once, an experience as enjoyable as standing in Fratton Park watching Saints lose 4-1. It's very nice that this bloke supports Saints though.

I wondered the same. Looked at his twitter, saw a photo, didn't recognise him. Found out he has something to do with cars, got bored, closed the page.

It didn't get Aphex Twin, guessed Burial instead. Then I went for George from Peppa Pig and it got him after 21 questions. It didn't know Poi from Cbeebies though.

Thought this was one season too far after the first few games when he seemed off the pace, glad to have been proved wrong though because he's been brilliant since then (balls up at Wallsall aside)

I hadn't bought my ticket either as I was waiting on a mate to find out if he'd be working. Got friends down there though so they should be able to sort me out in the home end. I'd like to think I'm a fairly loyal away fan, been to 10 already and doing Orient, Rochdale, Brighton and Brentford. Not bad on part time wages.

Why did Bradley Wright Phillips get a standing ovation FFS?
The Cat replied to Turkish's topic in The Saints
I didn't clap BWP, but then I rarely clapped him when he played for us so saw no need to do it last night. The Cortese song is dire. He doesn't hate Pompey so the song is redundant in it's meaning. If people want to sing about him then at least come up with something that makes sense. -
I put this in the attendance thread too.

I took this during the first half. Appalling away support.

He pulled off what Adkins would describe as a "worldy" in the first half when Charlton were on top for 10 minutes. Other than that no. Enjoyed that tonight. Dickson was excellent. Lallana was insanely good. We have to go up because I want to see him play in a Saints shirt for as long as possible and become a legend.

Late fitness test on his ankle according to SSN.

We'll win. My mate is coming and we've won every game this season he's been to.

Stephens seemed ok to me. Looked busy, would lay a pass off and move into space in case he was needed. Sounds simple but often players at this level don't do the easy thing.

Great last 30 minutes, and fair play to the fans for showing some belief getting behind us when we went 2-0 down. We didn't really deserve to be 2-0 down despite not playing that well and once we started getting more players into the box they started to panic. Always good to beat the fake team too.

What we need is more fans that go to games rather than chatting about them on a forum.

This report backs up the shouts for the 1-1 with Newcastle: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2002/dec/16/match.sport10?INTCMP=SRCH Have to say reading about 40000 Saints being at WHL makes me wish I'd been born 25 years earlier.

Rumour has it Saints are in big trouble!

Definitely him. Check the articles a search of his name on the guardian website provides: http://www.guardian.co.uk/search?q=paul+duffen§ion= -
I've taken my 5 year old son to 2 games this season. Blackpool, which he really enjoyed, and Carlisle which bored him rigid, although he wasn't the only one who had that reaction. He's not massively into football but does take an interest in Saints mainly because I go to most games. Before I went to Bournemouth he told me that he wanted them to win because he likes Bournemouth and saw the dinosaur exhibition at the BIC and they have a beach. I told him that if he said that again he couldn't play on his DS for a week, after which he said he hoped it was a draw. I think at that age the atmosphere is vital to their enjoyment of the game. He kept looking around at the crowd all the time and was sucked in at the Backpool game by all the singing and the fact that "Guly just whacked it in the goal from miles out", something which he still talks about now. However at the Carlisle game which was very flat he started complaining he was bored after 30 minutes and I had to ply him with sweets to stop him kicking the back of the seat in front and annoying the old bloke in front of us.

Good to see the youngsters back to winning ways. Jake Sinclair scored a hat-trick in 8 minutes. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/AcademyNews/0,,10280~2324380,00.html

A mate of mine went to school with him. Allegedly on a school trip to France, O'Connell was caught giving another boy a BJ.

Orient 1-5 Yeovil. How strange.

Hope for automatic. If not, beating Bournemouth 18-0 in the play off final will do nicely.

Can't believe I'm missing this match, but sadly it has to be. Therefore I'll be listening to Merrington and writing inane comments on here instead while looking forward to the fact I'm going to every game from now on. Still, I'll be able to see how the forum runs during a match for once.
