It could go either way for Pellegrino another thrashing before Xmas and no points and he will be gone A couple of draws and his certain death will linger on a while Probably Les will hold on till Feb before sacking him ensuring we will be in danger of getting relegated To be honest he's not able to manage this team to deliver an above relegation zone finish He is a dead man walking . Tadic and Redmond will be largely responsible Redmond and Tadic pass more to the opposition than they do to us.

We really do have to win this . Any win would be great but there is a fundamental problem and a win will just paper over the cracks. With the run of games we are in any manger would be under pressure. Every game for our manager is now a must perform or avoid a tonking. A late win for Everton and the ground will erupt as posted earlier and he won't survive that. It really would be kinder to put him out of his misery. His wife must be packing already. " Now where did we put these carboard boxes ?"

And some of the worst football I have ever seen . Booed off in the last game of the season
-
-
Yup that's about right . We will definitely leave it to the last ten minutes to try and equalise . Then they can troop off shaking their heads in disappointment
-
Redmond needs a rest. Give Boufal a few games and let's see what he can do.

It's ****e watching games where your team never scores- Fact
-
You don't seriously think the fans will put up with a manager who continues to select a team that can't score a goal or win a match at home? It may well be his options are limited but he picks the team and if he can't fix the problem he's gone no matter. The alternative is morale will hit the floor and we get relegated. At Xmas the club will make the decision that he can't fix it and pray the next manger can even if it's not guaranteed the next one will do any better The fixtures running up to Xmas are tough and with the window opening they will not trust him and sack him Merry Xmas MP , well not in your case
-
He did improve in the second half because he actually went past some Utd players. His shooting is consistently weak and off target. His supposed lack of form seems never ending. He frequently *****es at his own team members after he has lost the ball. He should be dropped. He really doesn't deserve his place and has been poor in all matches this season even though he did have a better second half . Just not good enough
-
Everyone brings a ukele and the entire saints support strum sling to OWTS We could wave our flat caps at the end of the song Or Long Boufal Redmond and Tadic actually start scoring goals at least once every eight fixtures might help
-
I saw how upset he was when Watford scored the second goal so he does care but his play is predictable and his first touch lets him down
-
Well no doubt in the Echo they will drag some player out to tell us how they must do better etc They won't they have proved over many months they can't hit a barn with a banjo Ffs don't play Tadic and Redmond
-
Writing players off. They did that themselves
-
The football has been crap since last December. The inability of Tadic Redmond David JWP to provide a service to the man upfront and their inability to score themselves will put us in the relegation zone. The stats don't lie bugger all goals from open plsy since December. If we don't chsnge the starting lineup it womg chsnge. .Tsdic should be dropped and Redmond and Lomg should leave the club
-
Maybe someone could explain what Tadic does that is so good. I constantly see him run into trouble by cutting inside and losing the ball. I don't see him providing anything to MG He rarely scores so if he doesn't provide what does he do?
-
The trouble with the new strategy is you have to survive in the most competitive league whilst the players mature Last season after VVD was injured we really struggled and if the season had gone on another month we would have been in deep trouble. This squad is going to really struggle . Th truth is there is no money if Kat is not as rich as we thought or if she is not willing to spend. The idea we don't need to improve the squad with the second least number of goals and a squad that has lost two key defenders is laughable
-
You are comparing Shane Long to Rooney? Rooney does ocassionslly hit a barn door with a banjo. Yes we finished last season with such a strong run of results we don't need to sign anyone
-
After the horrendous last eight games of the season and the team booed off the park at the last match the idea we can go into this season without strengthening the squad is ridiculous. The total silence as usual from the club is an insult to the fans. Truly an insult Les and the rest will be gone we the fans are in for the long haul The management team are unable to sell the club in the greatest boom football has ever seen Neither it would appear can they fund the buying of players Nor have they courtesy to engage with the fans in a meaningful way These idiots will take us down eventually. The dogs in the street know you can't sell your best players year after year and survive The season hasn't even started and many fans feels we could be in trouble As a season ticket holder more football like last season and I won't renew ever again Saints takes its fans for mugs.
-
Last season he was diabolical. Eight foot tall and can't command his area. Stuck on the goaline unable to move apparently.
-
Luckily Les thinks we have such a strong squad we don't need to sign anybody. With three weeks to go we don't need to bed anyone in.
-
The issue is that a low priced sale to Liverpool will cause damage to the club by ****ing off the fans and encouraging other clubs to come in for our players. Keeping VVD for another season is worth the cost if it sends a message to our squad and th other clubs
-
Surely to goodness we are going to sign a striker after the goal drought last year. I really couldn't handle another season like that Uncle Les secret squirrel don't breathe a word to the fans about our plans
-
He had to go because the football was dire. The league position more than flattered It was torture. If he didn't win the first few games the crowd would have been baying for his head and the club would have had to be looking for a manager in early November
-
This last season you could see the wheels being in danger of coming off. Entering the season light on strikers, the situation we found ourselves in when Fonte left and VVD got injured, dismal number of goals scored , turgid football It's incredibly difficult to find replacements for the better players that leave. At some point it will go tits up for us
