  1. The Next Gen lot would be nuts not to invite us to join.
  2. I suspect it didn't quite happen that way, by Poortvliet reaction Wotte play a part in his downfall. I guess he knew Lowe held his ticket to English football management and he was deparate enough to do anything to get it. I don't buy this 'acted with dignity when we went into admin' b#llocks , he was just looking after himself which is fair enough but he didn't do anything above and beyond.
  3. A snidy Lowe yes man. However good luck to him.
  4. Because of it's location on the Downs and because of the objections (probably) by the neighbouring Lib Dem Lewis Council who wasted hundreds of pounds of tax payers money fighting a scheme that wasn't in their borough, they had to reduce the height of the outward elevation.
  5. I was under the impression that Bloom has underwritten the debt and Brighton will still have to service it, however it could have changed with the credit crunch. £93million is hugh but they had to do a load of civil work for the stadium. It's got to be better for us than the Withdean, but you can't park there so its going to be a pain getting to and from. Brighton have been through a lot over the last 15 years so the deserve this fresh start. I would love us to be their first home game and ruin their party.
  6. NC should splash the cash and sign them all, ffs.
  7. Now we've reached 9 pages he'll be sh#t if we sign him.
  8. We could walk backwards in the stadium and wave white hankies when the team comes out. I've got a fat wife in honour our Chairman.
  9. Musical instruments at the football is like marriage guidance, you know it's really over but you give it one last chance.
  10. I hope he doesn't come back to haunt us.
  11. Just heard he has been arrested in Spain for having a punch up over his delayed flight. Don't know how true it is.
  12. That seems like a strange decision, more upfront could mean that players move for a deal that is far less in total, or it could stop young talent coming here for fear they may become unbuyable.
  13. What utter boll#cks you trot out.
  14. I suppose it could be claimed that its gone stale at Cardiff with DJ and that a change is best for both. It does annoy me how people on here claim things, like relegation under DJ, with such certainty. All I remember is that DJ had lost a few and the fans were not too bothered that he was suspended/sacked, however we don't know how the season would have turn out. Good luck to DJ.
  15. I hope your are not going to do this every time there is an OP that hasn't got the level of positivity you demand.
  16. I thought his flick for the second goal was excellent.
  17. When appointing Ian Branfoot the board were trying to copy the appointment of Lawrie Mc, but it didn't work. In my opinion sacking Chris Nicholl was a big mistake but keeping Branfoot as long as they did was a worse error.
  18. Just because they have been retained doesn't mean we can't sell them. The released players are the ones we think have no future at SFC, have no value or by releasing them it is helping them find a new club. The ones we keep have value to SFC as a player or as cash.
  19. So if Saints get a ****ed TV cook as a chair person we wouldn't want long contracts for players, I don't get it.
  20. The benefit is that 3 plays 6, which is deemed the weaker out of the four teams and that 3 plays at home in the second leg which is seen as an advantage.
  21. No it doesn't, jeez what are you expecting the season has only just finished.
  22. It is probably not a zero tolerance policy more like NA wasn't that arsed in trying to keep JP.
  23. Terry Smith a US motivational speaker did it at Chester. Ron Noads got a respectable 40% win ratio at Brentford.+*-
  24. Long deal, lot of compo if it goes wrong.
