Happy Thanks Giving to all the yanky saints

It was a good performance by a well set up team. Not a fluke at all, things are bad at the moment but credit when its due.
-
Are you compensating for a small c*ck.

Great opening post. MC is a true legend, a brilliant bloke and a fantastic footballer. Happy Birthday Mick.
-
There's one in Leicester Square or one in Greenwich right on top of Charlton with loads of other good pubs around it.
-
I think we went over 200 corners bewteen goals in GS time
-
But if you accept that the club has been badly run for some time then why accept leaving the same people in charge. It is time to look forward with a different board.

I agree. Bol**cks I thought they were releasing him, didn't realise he was there until recently, no wonder James has had a renaissance.

What about Richard North

They need some older holigans with some experience, its all pretty footwork with no end product at the moment.

Question to those loyal that bleed red & white
Fan The Flames replied to thefuriousb's topic in The Saints
But it matters to 'proper fans' what we are called, where we play, what players we have, what colours we play in, what the stadium is called, who the manager is, how much the beer costs, etc etc so why not who's in charge. Just because people want a change to one aspect of the club doesn't mean they are not proper fans and I think you will find that those who spend time on here are Saints fans for life, just some want change and others don't, no big deal. -
Including yours. Its lucky you don't go to SM because you might end up sitting next to someone who thinks differently to you.

We are still below them, goal diff
-
Stats wise we were all over them, well done lads againsts a good side.

Question to those loyal that bleed red & white

We were rudderless under Lowe, hes very average, he never had a plan he just reacted to events. When he went the hope was we would get a management team with a vision for pushing on, now he's back that hope has gone. -
Dell Days I see you have stopped knocking Sturrock, hes doing a good job continuing to rebuild the team that keeps losing its best players.
-
Was Skacel that bad.
-
Reading Sundance's post I get the impression that even he/she is now admitting that Lowe's tactics are wrong. Gone is the rabid fan baiting and fan blaming, the name calling and disproportionate Lowe loving. Replaced by a more sympathetic understanding of the situation, you could go as far as saying its a conciliatory uniting rally call. But then comes the last sentence, never one to fail his audience or is it the last spasm of a tired and dying beast.
-
Because the intellectual battle has been won. Most 'anti-Lowe' stuff, for want of a better name is generally people myth busting, responding to the pro Lowe myths and pointing out the factual errors. This is the best way to win this battle, support the team (don't give the prolowers any ammunition) and let everyone come round to the right way of thinking whilst tackling any myths and untruths as they appear. I hope we are in the end game soon.

Pompey might want to loan him off us to get their ground sorted out, maybe they will want a radio station and top notch catering facilities as well

The same San Siro that Inter are planning to leave, that has problems with the condition of the pitch because its used too much, a ground that Inter do not feel at home even though they have been there since the the 40's and AC fans can't wait to get rid of them. In our case what is so eminently sensible about playing in another city, it almost killed of Brighton and Charlton. I was at Charlton (not in the ground unfortunatly) the night they got back to the Valley, the noise when the team ran out made the hairs on your neck stand up. It doesn't happen in London, Nottingham, Sheffiled, Birmingham, Liverpool or Manchester etc, even Bristol Rovers didn't share with City when they needed to. So no thanks.
