    I don't fancy coloured women.
  3. Its called having a broadcaster independent of government and owner. Occasionally that lack of control can bite you in the arse but I sure as hell wouldnt swap it for any of the US networks editorial policy.
  4. tbf you could make a good argument for any of England; Spain /Portugal; Holland/Belgium or Russia hosting 2018. Im disapppointed but dont think Russia is an unreasonable choice. Qatar in 2022 is just ****ing bananas though.
  5. Been to Doha once for 18 hours. It was plenty.
  6. Gatwick reopening Friday morning. Big thaw Friday and Saturday.
  7. Woman inches. Got 10 real inches now.
  8. There is no legal requirement to change to winter tyres, and all new cars come equipped with summer tyres - so people just tend to replace with like for like when their tyre wear out. Most places like National Tyres and Kwik Fit stare at you blankly if you ask for winter tyres. I get mine from here. http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?dsco=110&cart_id=5068049.110.5971&Cookie=froogle&s_p=Tyres
  9. I do! Make a huge difference. My Swedish ex had to bully me into it first time, but converted now. I think the problem is most people in Britain dont know that they have summer tyres - they assume they are all season. Most people also think (wrongly) that winter tyres are only for snow and ice and the UK doesnt have enough to make it worthwhile.
  10. I nearly put Brighton but thought better of it!
  11. Got six inches in mid Sussex, snowing heavily and heading your way (west)
  12. Now that really is a sad and revealing comment. Success for you is to be noticed - respect and and affection being unobtainable so contempt will do.
  13. Vesuvius
  14. Actually he's in the UK and has not been charged by the Swedish authorities. Apart from that - all factually correct. As for 'no smoke without fire' - thats a joke right?
  15. You have a Crouchiesque avatar of a 5 year old.

    BA

Good choices. Depends how long you've got but if its two-three weeks I'd suggest SF (boat ride to Alcatraz is good but Fishermans wharf is carp), drive to Carmel (good beach and nice inn called Tickle Pink - stay in senators lodge if you can, Monterey Bay Aquarium worth a visit, various top golf courses here inc Pebble Beach which you can play for about £80) drive down highway 1 along Big Sur, visit Hearst Castle stop in San Luis Obispo (farmers market Thursday evening creates a good buzz), stop in Santa Monica rather than LA (good shopping, food, pier and beach - Oceana hotel is nice), Las Vegas, Death Valley (check out a ghost town or Amargosa opera house), stop in motel in Beatty (weird tumbleweed place) up route 95, the passes across the Sierra Nevada dont open till late May, across to Yosemite and wine country (I like the sonoma valley a bit more).

    Thai food

Regularly get Thai for lunch from the stall in Exmouth market in Clerkenwell. Its very good.
  18. Jesus Dune. I'm normally pretty relaxed about you expressing your views - but give it a rest with Churchill. You aren't him, you never met him and great man though he was, he's been dead for 50 years and you have no idea what his viwews on any political issue of today would be. Besides its too much. Tedious.
  19. cheese and onion
  20. Yes it does. You should send them pictures of yourself naked and aroused, especially if its a family member who has poked you.
  21. An Imperialist? You mean going back to the empire? You mean you would enforce British rule on another state by force and the population would have no right to repsentation through the ballot box. Remind me again how that is different from Fascism.
  22. Used to live in a house in Glenfield Avenue Bitterne. The back of the house was almost a foot lower than the front and none of the windows were square or opened properly. I'd heard it was bomb damage - apparently the bombs exploding underground sent a shock wave through the earth which lifted the houses off their foundations. Interesting to see there were 5 bombs within 100m and one within 20m.
  23. You're one of my favourite posters Ron. I really mean that.
  24. Tried that. No joy. About to try Username: admin Password: password Ive seen what Baj is capable of.
  25. Who was that poster a year or so ago whereby he was only one who could see his posts, but nobody else could? I wonder if I could hack the admin priviledges. We have one prime candidate and it would be a kindness to society.
