Granted he over-eggs it, but Bournemouth and Poole has a pretty sizable population. No reason why the couldnt build up over time (a decade) to a broadly comparable size to Plymouth.

Always helps to have comparisons of prices on the web as a bargaining tool. Ive often done that when I want to try before I buy but dont want to pay high street prices.

Quite. Given a choice between the way Cortese deals with all things Saints and NI, its no contest. We have quite a few saints 'fans / supporters' who used to 'be someone' associated with the club years ago and cant reconcile the fact they dont have a role anymore.

Also its 2.5 hours drive to Southampton from Exeter but 3 hours from Plymouth. That extra half an hour would really **** you off after youve done the trip fro a few home games.

I look after my two children half time and their mother has them half time. In my simplistic view of the world that should mean we are supporting them equally and neither parent should have to pay the other, especially since she earns £34,000pa lives in a mortgage free detached house, gets all the child benefit and has a live boyfriend on £100,000pa. In reality, even though I have a mortage I am expected to also pay her 20% of my income - money which should go towards my support of the kids, holidays for them etc. The system is totally skewed to benefitting the mother, not the interests of the children.

Stanley is right though. You cant import 800,000 people at the same time as house building levels are at a record low and not expect it to create shortages and drive prices up. Housing in the UK is far too expensive and mostly **** poor quality. If house prices fell slowly or stagnated for thirty years that would be a damn fine thing imo - and the only ways to do that is to reduce the population or increase house building dramatically.
