Intentionally or otherwise, don't Southend gain a small(ish) advantage over the course of a season by playing a significant portion of their home games on a Friday night? (a) their players are more used to playing at that time of the week and (b) away teams are likely to have less supporters than on a saturday due to work committments and other logistical issues perhaps? It would be almost interesting to see how southend's Friday night win ratio compares to their Saturday home game win ratio

In any role at the club, Keegan would add another 4 figures to the match day gate and bring a new level of buzz to the club. People can quote facts and figures to back up the 'no and 'yes' camps until the cows come home, but at a humanistic level, Keegan, in any role, would bring nothing but a good feel vibe to the club.

Is this a big radar or a small one? Some radars can pick up objects that are not very close at all....

Someone mentioned many moons ago on here that it was do do with the location of the changing rooms and that Saints 'naturally' came out of the tunnel on the left (as you come out onto the pitch). I mentioned at the time that it wouldn't be beyond the wit of man for the teams to cross over in the corridor before they get to the tunnel. Also, it's not just about kicking towards the 'home end' in the second half that is important I think the players would also benefit psychologically from running out towards the Northam for both the pre-match warm up and just before kick-off.

It's the posts moaning about the moaners that catch my eye most....

One can still be "positive" about the long term stability and future of the club but still predict a bottom half of table finish. The two viewpoints aren't mutually exclusivbe IMHO. BTW, if you're watching Mr Cortese, I predicted a 7th - 9th place finish in said poll, so I'll glady accept any of those free tickets too...
