  1. Good idea....
  2. Some people seem to be alluding to the fact that 'Nineteen Canteen' (and other alledged incarnations) is a stooge placed by the proprietors of this messageboard to generate traffic and debate? Come on. Not even I could come up with a conspiracy theory as far-fetched as that one.... I don't know....whatever next? People suggesting that the 2007/2008 forum database was deliberately wiped to cover up something? When will it all end I say? Madness.

  11. Replace top "striker" with top "goalscorer" and the poll makes sense...
  12. "If I was Morgan Schneiderlin, of course I'd be concerned because he's a good player and he wants to play international football. Hopefully the Under-21 coach can clarify that." Dear Alan...they have these in France too: ...just an idea....
  13. Fair play, but some would argue that staying away because of the lack of positiveness is a self defeating prophecy in that the best way to flush out any negativeness is to show up and lead by example?
  14. Yep, especially these days. I recall there being a bit of a hoo-ha when Steve Bull was selected whilst in the second tier though.
  15. He said: “The hard part for me as a manager is the international managers saying they won’t be selected if they are playing in this division. “I think that’s a terrible thing to say and I don’t think it’s fair. It’s insulting." I disagree with Pardew on this one. If England were picking players from League One we (as England fans) would be pontificating that League One wasn't a good enough stamping ground for international players.
  16. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/8225941.stm Uefa plans to curb clubs' debts Uefa president Michel Platini has vowed to bring in regulations that ensure football clubs manage their finances so they "live within their means". Rules not in place until 2012 so I wonder if they will apply retrospectively, such that clubs like Notts County get pulled up for what they are doing 'today'....?
  17. So, just to clarify, it's OK to boo as long as one explains to the people one is sitting next to why one is booing?
