Looks that way. Maybe some kind person in the BBC Solent region could hold their phone up to their wireless and stream it via Periscope or suchlike...?

Sir Billy is on fire
-
Just the kind of player we were missing off the bench for last 20 mins today IMO....
-
Valery's looked pretty decent whenever I've watched the U23s. That said, different level of football, obviously
-
It's Alpine I worry for. I assumed you'd stolen his.

Fair point. But the bottom line is that Maguire's shot was relatively weak and went through two defenders who should have dealt with it. I've seen enough of Saints the last couple of seasons to be convinced we're more than capable of conceding that type of last minute goal if we had 13 players on the pitch, let alone 10.

New pack of "I told you so" cards for Unbelievable Jeff please

Disagree. We didn't lose that game due to going down to 10 men. We lost it due to inept defending. Sure, going down to 10 men dented our chances of winning but we can't pin the defeat on Hojbjerg IMO.

The sort of game that was crying out for a player of the ilk of Sims to come off the bench for the last 20 mins. Hey ho. We stumble on...
-
Look on the positive side... If the squad selection is confusing us fans then it going to be equally perplexing/unexpected for the opposition. Could be a masterstroke from Hughes; alternatively...

Full time. 1-1. Decent performance.

Saints down to 10. Slattery sent off (2nd yellow)
-
Yep. Well, sort of...got it on in the background. 1-1. 20 mins to go

ITK or hunch Sir Billy?

Hughes mentions the Sims recall option at the end of this video clip:
-
Hughes said in yesterday's pre-match press conference that there is a January window recall option in Sim's loan contract (apologies if this has already been mentioned - have only skim read the thread)

We look forward to welcoming the current football team that plays at Fratton Park into the Championship and hope that you enjoy watching your club play at the highest level in their 6 year history.

1-0 Gallagher (19)

A valid point of view but somewhat misses the point. All people are highlighting is that if an entertainment venue offers refreshment facilities then it's not beyond the wit of man to make it work efficiently, regardless of the quality of the product being served.

Indeed. I'm going to buck the trend and suggest we stick with 3 CBs given its a tricky away tie where we'd be happy to come away with a point, and with Yoshida slotting in to add some pace to the formation. So, I'd go with... ------------------------- McCarthey ------------------------ ------ Yoshida ----- Vestergaard ---- Hoedt ----- Cedric ------------------------------------------- Bertrand ------------------- Lemina -------- Romeu -------------- ---- Elyanoussi ------- Ings -------- Redmond ---- Subs: Gunn, Targett/McQueen, Bednarek/Stephens, JWP/Hojbjerg/Davis, Long/Gabbi/Austin Edit: bugger... Missed out Armstrong altogether... Oh well, back to the drawing board!! (Maybe I should go back to picking a starting 12... Far easier that way )

On a similar note... I was in the main part of the Northam today and was surprised that there is only one small beer servery open for the whole stand. I usually go in block 39 (Northam/Kingsland corner) and there are 3 beer serveries in that part of the concourse, which normally means it's relatively quick to get served. Just seems weird that the main home stand only has one small beer outlet, and not rocket science to put right one would have thought...

Just back from the game. Burnley clearly came for a draw and, with our overly defensive formation, we played into their hands in the first 60 mins. We should've snuck it at the end but a draw probably the fair result. Ings looks a different class. If he stays fit then we have a decent season on our hands. Vestergaard impressed and probably snuck my MotM. I don't think we'll be back to the top 8 heights of the 4 seasons preceding the last one, but their are enough positive signs to suggest we won't be relegation fodder either. P.s. WTF is that bright red pitch surround all about??!!
