  1. He played for better teams than us, so comparison falls down.
  2. If you think it is Hasenhuttl's tactics with multiple pressing triggers and switches depending on circumstances as they change during games are simple, what team do you consider to have a complicated system?
  3. I did not say it involved shouting. In any case he is clearly vocal. Just because he sounds like a choir boy in interviews it doesn't make him a bad captain.
  4. It isn't a simple system in the slightest. It is tactically intricate with a large range of pressing triggers and plays in different situations.
  5. What do you think a captain should do, and how do you know Ward-Prowse isn't doing it? This isn't the 1980s where a captain simply needed to shout the loudest!
  6. It isn't unreasonable to ask a question after someone makes a statement. Otherwise conversation would be only a flow of one way statements. Sunday evening is a great time for TV audiences. Shows get decent viewing figures in those timeslots.
  7. Turkish and the charmless man! 😉
  8. Enlighten us with your insight please What is it going to stop you doing during the pandemic?
  9. That is not remotely relevant to my question about Sunday evening games. Why is that kick off time an issue to fans in general outside of individual commitments?
  10. Why would Walcott and his agent agree to that?
  11. Why? What difference does it being on Sunday evening make?
  12. What is wrong with the kick off being that time?
  13. As Waylander mentioned above, he has played for Saints in the FA Cup... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55766734
  14. How have you worked that out? We have a far more valuable playing squad, stadium and training ground. What indication is there that their long term future is better than ours? Pompey have achieved nothing under his ownership. They are stagnating in the 3rd tier. If they were ever to be promoted it would be difficult to see them face anything other than a relegation battle back to League One. Saints lacking investment in the PL id far better than Pompey lacking investment in L1 with shoddy infrastructure!
  15. Nope, I was pointing out it isn't exactly the same as was claimed and is not a relevant comparison.
  16. Strange use of exact. The comparison is deeply flawed.
  17. You lure children into a cave never to be seen again? 🤔
  18. Yes, I agree asking you a question on this forum is pointless, as you consistently don't answer them! Had you answered it we could have continued talking.
  19. I was not making a point, I was asking you a question (which you haven't answered)
  20. If it was a widely used practise then no one would take it seriously as they would be aware it was a likely manipulation. This isn't flogging a can of coke to a consumer, it is multi million pound business transactions. Its use would make it obsolete. It is a catch 22.
  21. I did not say you did.
  22. If they are talking in private to other clubs, how does making up stories in the press help? If clubs knew stories were regularly made up in the press the would not trust them to influence multi million pound transactions.
  23. Talk me through how making up a story in the media makes a difference. If clubs knew stories were regularly made up in the press the would not trust them to influence multi million pound transactions. Agents can talk directly to clubs, it doesn't need to be done in the press.
  24. Having it in the press makes no difference. The agent could talk directly to other clubs to see if there was interest. Making up stories in the media is pointless and achieves nothing.
  25. Yes, it is. Can you answer it? Why would multi million pound transactions be influenced by made up stories?
