  1. Sky Sports News use of statistics in their report about Juanmi was odd (as it is generally). - Why use only 2015 figures and not from the entire season? They picked an arbitrary point in the season. - Why do they think "shot conversion rate" has any real meaning? It is flawed. - Why include only Pelle and Long, when both are used in very different roles? Juanmi certainly won't be used in the Pelle role.
  2. It was their teammates that were terrible.
  3. Schneiderlin, K.Davis and Lallana were all part of a team relegated to League One.
  4. If they are basing the "staying onside" on the clips from that video then it isn't a problem because the linesman gets it wrong.
  5. Or... the odds reflect the money placed by random members of the public guessing where he is going based on numerous conflicting press reports and the bookmakers are setting odds so they can make the most money. I doubt anyone in the press or bookmakers currently know where Austin is going to end up.
  6. This article claims he is now in England for a medical... http://futbol.as.com/futbol/2015/06/15/primera/1434363742_670073.html
  7. You've only been on these forums since April 2015 and have already had me on ignore? Go me! Anyone with half a brain cell will see the more likely version of events is that your post is based on a previously published national newspaper story... and not rumours from a "friend of a player's wife" who the club happen to be keeping informed of transfer policy. Why are you even trying to maintain this nonsense? Perhaps you should put me on ignore, I wouldn't bother responding to your nonsense. Are you someone's alias?
  8. This "friend of a player's wife" is being kept informed of Liverpool's transfer strategy and Southampton's transfer strategy? hmmm that sounds likely... Can you understand why someone might think the more likely version of events is that you are basing it on a remarkably similar newspaper story that was published 8 hours before your post?
  9. Okay, you got it from someone else... who had read it in the Mirror. What you posted is not new information, it is merely a summary of a story that appeared on the Mirror website 8 hours earlier. Why are you pretending to be itk?
  10. He read it in the Mirror... http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-make-renewed-bid-southampton-5882425
  11. Imagine the uproar on this site if Jordan Henderson said similar about Clyne joining Liverpool.

  13. - Retained list is all the players who are still under contract beyond 30th June 2015. - Released list is players who had a contract expiring in the summer (30th June 2015) and haven't been offered a new one. Gaston Ramirez contract expires on 30th June 2016, so he was never going to be on the released list.
  14. If Pompey signed Micah Richards would that be an "average signing"? He'd be easily their best player. Which is why I asked what the definition of an "average signing" is.
  15. Thats not a definition.
  16. What is your definition of an "average signing"?
  17. The 25 man Premier League squad is only for players over 21 years old. Lotus-Cheek, Brown and Baker are under 21 on cutoff date, Chalobah and Bamford are also under 21 on cutoff date (plus were out on loan in 2014/15) and aren't included in 25 man squad.
  18. Saints were linked with him in May... http://www.southwales-eveningpost.co.uk/Swansea-City-linked-Brondby-s-Finnish/story-26439129-detail/story.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3071074/Swansea-City-weigh-Brondby-keeper-Lukas-Hradecky.html
  19. Stoke first had red and white stripes in 1883, but in their first 45 years of existence they went through many different colours and designs before settling with red/white stripes in 1908 (but not entirely until 1915). http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Stoke_City/Stoke_City.htm
  20. Its nonsense, Saints were formed in 1885 and we didn't start wearing red and white stripes until 1896. In 1896 Stoke were wearing this red and blue striped kit...
  21. How do you know what the process was or what else Saints were doing? It is possible to be in negotiations with multiple players at the same time.
