  1. So Saints last season with the youth of Shaw, Chambers, Ward-Prowse, Wanyama, Clyne, Reed, Gallagher etc didn't work "within the competiveness of the EPL"?
  2. There is a big clue in the text that accompanies the vine... VINE: @ryanbertrand3 watches Maya Yoshida's VO2 Max test.#saintsfc
  3. Simon Peach ‏@SimonPeach Not expecting much on #SaintsFC transfer front today.

  5. Despite the same paper writing contradictory articles like this...? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2714056/Javier-Hernandez-Wilfried-Zaha-Southampton-targets-70m-spree.html
  6. Sunday 10th June 2012...
  7. Saints played him as a centre back in some under 21 games towards the end of last season.
  8. I'm lost as to what point you are making, what you've said is extremely muddled and makes no sense. The account you listed has been in existence since 2012 it hasn't been created in 2014 as you previously said, all he has done is change his Twitter name adding "LFC" to it with a new picture. Its the same account!
  9. Its the same account he's had since 2012.
  10. They've already spent £18.9m on Pelle and Tadic.
  11. In itself it doesn't mean anything, as they've left out quite a lot of 1st team players who will play in the 2nd leg on Wednesday... Celtic Football Club @celticfc · 16m Celtic team to play @SpursOfficial Gordon; Herron, O'Connell, Ambrose, Twardzik; Lindsay, Irvine, Henderson; McGeouch, Pukki, McMullan (MH) Celtic Football Club @celticfc · 14m Subs: Fasan, Waters, McManus, McIlduff, Tierney, Balde, Fridjonsson. (MH) Its basically their squad players, under 21's and Ambrose who was is now suspended for the 2nd leg.
  12. That is a fake twitter account created by a random on a wind-up. This is his real (and verified) account... https://twitter.com/SaphirOfficiel

  14. If you are referring to the following interview, he didn't confirm the Taider deal he said "maybe, maybe"... http://www1.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/9402638/-koeman:-schneiderlin-staying
  15. Its on Sky Sports 1, not Sky Sports news.
  16. We've been linked with both.
  17. Its an interview he did on 11th July. Which was the day of his first press conference, but he also did one-to-ones with other media including the Premier League's own TV company who make the programme on Sky at 1:30pm today.
  18. Last season we played Celta Vigo away on 3rd August 2013.

More than just the Sun, also in the... http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/javier-hernandez-latest-southampton-chasing-manchester-united-striker-but-atletico-not-interested-in-chicharito-9642347.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2712686/Southampton-face-competition-Inter-Milan-Man-Uniteds-Javier-Hernandez.html Koeman didn't deny the Hernandez link after the Brighton game.... http://www1.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/9402638/-koeman:-schneiderlin-staying When asked about Hernandez Koeman answered with a big grin on his face "we like to have all the good players". Perhaps there is nothing in it, but he could have easily denied it completely if he wanted.
  20. Both of which we are said to have options to buy included in them and we are still linked with purchasing the likes of Forster, Rojo, van Dijk, Vlaar, Redmond, Hernandez.
  21. His £20k+ p/w wages will be an issue for a lot of clubs at the level he'll be looking at.
  22. Its a verified account of a former BBC journalist, so has a degree of credibility to what he says. I'd say regardless of Sharp staying or going we'd be getting a new striker (or two). Sharp hasn't been part of our Premier League squads in the past so its not really opening up a spot.
  23. The following tweet and the accompanying smug photo is a little annoying... Arsenal FCVerified account ‏@Arsenal Wenger on Southampton: "They could have won the European Cup if they could have kept the team together."
