Even without Shaw, Lallana, Lambert and potentially Lovren & Schneiderlin there is a lot of quality still at the club for Ronald Koeman to build on. Have you seen the squads of the sides below us last season and the newly promoted sides? They really are nothing special. It'll take a disastrous summer of recruitment for Saints to be in the relegation zone next May. Ronald Koeman hasn't left a Champions League club for a laugh, his appointment is a show of ambition in itself. More so than for example West Brom appointing Alan Irvine don't you think?

That entirely depends on which Saints fan wrote that part of the article. I could go on Wikipedia now and edit it to say he is a striker.

I think (hope) that is another training top. Last season Saints had 2 training kits! Last season we had this in the summer... And this in the winter...

Correction Don't underestimate the pull of that. Plus if Shalke and Sevilla don't make a big enough bid for Tadic or offer the terms Saints do then Saints are in a strong position. Mentioning two other clubs in the press could simply be a negotiating technique by his agent to get the best possible wage offer from Saints. Plus as I said...
