In many ways Crouch and Lowe are cut from similar cloth, they are both egotistical, self-serving bigots who have their own interests very much at the forefront of their thinking rather than what is good for Southampton Football Club. As it happens the majority on here seem to find it easier to empathise with Crouch. Unfortunately, this may just be down to the old hatreds and "anybody but Lowe" prejudice, which is understandable given Lowe's evident inability and unwillingness to recognise that supporters are not just customers and Supporters are as much Stakeholders in SFC as he. Since there has been no recorded evidence of a single Leopard ever transforming itself into a Cheetah through some miracle of nature that so far has not been explained, it must be concluded that we have seen the best and worst of both Lowe and Crouch and both have been found wanting as far as providing leadership and vision for our club is concerned. We need to rid ourselves of both and their acolytes and embrace a new regime and a root and branch overhaul of the entire business before there is any hope at all of re-uniting the supporter base

Obviously Redkrapp doesn't want him around so the money we got for him is beginning to look like a good deal. Well, one theory of what is happening economically is that everyhting is unravelling irreversibly so everyone will lose their jobs within three years and everyone with a mortgage will be repossessed and nobody will be able to keep themselves warm or pay their council tax and only the government will have any money and not very much of it and the only food we'll get will be from soup kitchens on every street corner. It is possible that the whole global financial system has been illusory from the start, has suddenly reached a tipping point and is now collapsing like a pack of cards simply because it was never sustainable at any level. It only stayed balanced upright by the act of constantly maintaining instability by feeding in more and more credit and now there is more world debt than world resource so credit has become meaningless as it is unsecured. Oh sh*t, I think I'll give Doncaster a miss!

When you read that the prem clubs have a combined debt of £1.8 Billion and Barclay's are not that likely to renew their Title sponsorship, you wonedr if Lowe is just making a mountain out of a mole hill over our measly £4.9m loss? One of he really important points about today's performance was that especially in the first half, we played far better football and created more chances WITHOUT Surman or Lallana then we ever do with them playing. As usual, incomprehensible substitutions from the Lunatic Dutchman ruined any chance of us winning the game. It was also plain to see that Gobern was a complete waste of space, hanging around not even watching the ball or even trying to get into the game. Had we played Euell from the beginning as the second holding midfielder things could have been completely different. There are some dirty barstewards playing for Reading these days that's for sure; I thought they were a better footballing side than that. There are no legitimate ways of ridding ourselves of Lowe, so the only alternative is to rid Lowe of us. The club is rumored to be close to administration because it has no way to repay it's debts if Barclay's calls in their money soon to protect it's own liquidity and is running at a trading loss year-on-year which cannot be balanced by the simple expedient of selling one or two players. To continue in business we will need to sell 4 or 5 players per year £500-750K range) just to meet annual losses but we cannot go on doing that for 20 years whilst the Stadium mortgage winds down. We fans might as well stay away just to speed up administration, to get this whole messy business resolved once and for all. Whoever buys the club in the administration period will still need to service the £27.9 million debt or settle it outright. If Lowe hasn't got the money and cannot persuade Barclay's to stay involved, where else would he get the money from? In these circumstances he would not be considered a realistic bidder, so he isn't going to get it for £1 as many fear. On the downside, nor would any of the other usual suspects. My guess is that the administration period would run down without a serious buyer emerging signalling the demise of our club as we know it.

Probably because they are not good enough for the premiership and will only attract interest from CCC teams. Nearly all clubs in the CCC will be seeking to REDUCE their wages bills in Jan with much off-loading and not much new buying so bids very unlikely. No doubt Lowe has already sounded out his pals and got stone-walled; (£2M laddie, do me a favour, **** off!) hence no money coming in January; hence banks force foreclosure; hence the rumours.

Yes, I was there at lunch time as well and was frankly amazed to be told that 4500 will go on general sale on Monday. This is Man U after all.. things ain't what they used to be and Man U are not so great to watch since the golden generation retired and you just know Looney, Thicko Ron & Tevez won't be muddying their precious boots on our cowpats.
