This is a real shame, but I'm sure he is replaceable and we already have a system in place -

Should we have sacked Pochettino any way?

Targett replacing Tadich had me a little worried. -
Jay-rod may not come back the same player. He may also need a while to really recover.

Art whilst I would find a different way of putting it, I think you're hitting the nail on the head.

Disappointing draw

Third game that i've watched Targett. He is very impressive, but lets keep our feet firmly on the ground. Things are going well.

Dig Dig and View From The Top you are both no better than each other! Allow each other opinions. Its a forum. Sometime we are made to look very silly thats probably why we write on a forum rather than make the big decisions. Thank good.

Consider everything is wrong until we are informed otherwise

Buy them and then play them out of position. Simple

I've used the trainer kit from Saints and I have too say it is really poor quality. My trainer kits at the moment are all Adidas and they feel fantastic.

I told Sam he should keep his Fiesta a few years longer and keep grounded. did he listen????
-
Of course he got 11% because Pelle scored 2 goals, but that doesn't mean he wasn't the best player in the middle Overall in the Premier League. And anyway half the People who vote don't even see the match

How can You not pick Morgen???? The Mans a fool

Because that's how we finished the Newcastle match. I noticed that Koeman wanted to try something. Gardos had too little time, but with a natural left foot he does bring balance. Toby it would appear can play anywhere, but he does prefer his right foot. Not a natural left centre back, but a quality player can adapt.

One game does not make Adam poor. It will take time to make him a poor player. Lovren was played right centre back by Rogers yesterday. All his good work for Saints came when he played left centre back. Also let's not forget than Wanyama and Schneiderlin don't play in front of him. I think Van Gaal bought Rojo because he wasn't convinced by Shaw. I think Shaw has been poorly advised to go to Man U. Although he will become a very Rich young man, which isn't the worst thing in the world.

Gardos to start. Alderweireld to play defensive midfield. Maybe I'll leave the team to Koeman??

I would like to think that Morgan will see that playing with the best players week in, week out doesn't always create the best team and that big headed mentalities create conflict and thereby a team without spirit. At least Adam Lallana would have played in every game when fit at Southampton. Now I'm not so sure.

Saint Richmond whilst it is conjecture I believe that the board new a lot more than we think. In my opinion the most important part of the team is the engine. Morgan is pivotal in all that we do. I believe he will be very difficult to replace and his worth far exceeds any bid we received. Lallana whilst a good player was not a great player. Sometimes brilliant, but he also disappeared in matches. Tadich is a more consistent player. The board new that Lallana could be replaced. Rickie has been replaced. Lovren could be replaced. Good business. Luke Shaw was sold to balance the books. We may regret his sale, but his replacement has not really reduced our level of football. We don't know how good Chambers will be. That's the point. Maybe we will live to regret his sale, but Clyne is the better option and we do not miss him until Clyne gets injured and even then we now have options. All in all I believe the board have done a fantastic job and should be congratulated.

The thing that I really want to stress is that buying the best players doesn't make a team. Liverpool have bought well, but Saints look and play like a team. Funny how Rogers is playing Lovren at right centre back and Lallana on the left. Players will only perform to the maximum ability when they are comfortable in the formation and position. I wonder how many points Rogers will lose before he realises that he must play to the players strength rather than adapt them to the system. Football is an immediate results business. Koeman is the man of the moment.

Good players will always be linked. The important thing is that we seek replacements early. Ensure we achieve maximum sale price and replace with an uncovered gem at a sensible price. And so it will go on until we have more money than sense and play in the Champions league
