  1. Or are there just tedious infantile weirdos like you? We've just won 3-1 against Chelsea but you have to be a knobhead and not think of positive things. Really don't get what ****s like you get out of life. I seem to recall I didn't rate Pelle after his first game or so, he was poor at the time and looked like he didn't give a toss. I'm still not a great lover of him, but hey ho I can't fault some of his recent performances. He was also pathetic against Man U asking to be subbed. Doesn't mean he can't be good as well. Sadly thickos like you don't seem to be able to cope with the notion that players can improve, can go good and bad spells, and so on. Some people see how players perform in a particular match and base judgements on the displays, not on how you think a player played or how you want him to play.
  2. Just as Jamie R said. Not only was it a pen, but the subsequent foul on Mane was a foul yet Mane gets a booking for diving.
  3. You missed his previous 6 goals then? That's his 7th since he's been here.
  4. That was my thought when I read it, kind of little job I could do with now I've semi-retired. Very reasonable rates :-)
  5. At least 10 I would reckon would be good additions to our squad. A few that I don't know much about. Most of that 10 are as good if not better than England have right now.
  6. Think Rooney would be more interested in Ada Byron to be honest.
  7. As long as Ronald has learned the lesson from last week not to take Davis off so that the tempo of our game is destroyed then we could be OK.
  8. They have the same number (3). Difference is that they have purchased them over a period of years, they didn't come shopping at Southampton on a bulk buy basis. They also did us a favour in some respects with Walcott, given the dire financial straits we were in at the time, his transfer was almost 10 years ago now. The two clubs and how we do business with them are very different cases.
  9. I know very well what the UK is. Definition of British, an adjective referring to something of, from, or related to the United Kingdom or the island of Great Britain. People born in Northern Ireland are technically British, whether or not they hold a British or Irish passport. My wife is definitely British, she was born in Northern Ireland. I would agree that she doesn't come from Great Britain, but that's another matter.
  10. It went well the previous time.
  11. As a schoolboy.
  12. We have never done so, so I'm not sure I see how you can say we can, there is no evidence to support the idea.
  13. Ings is stretching it a bit. Anyway Liverpool are not Top 4 (Chelsea, Man City, Man U & Arsenal) Not sure how you include Long in the "smattering", he isn't British. You could however include Davis instead, as technically he is British, you could also include Caulker for that matter although on loan.
  14. A Skate from Swindon? Feck, they get everywhere now.
  15. Nothing says I'm a ***** who knows nothing about football like people who tell other people they know nothing about football...
  16. Rachel Riley is literally perfect. As such she would never go for someone who confuses to and too Sorry, had to be done.
  17. This is a Tranny, Southampton's finest: Cross-dressing came much later
  18. I don't have any Horlicks boxes, funny you should mention that, I used to deliver Horlicks, summer job when I was a student, original white van man, Tranny with Horlicks written on the side.
  19. He is also not a bad player when he turns up, he was quite decent for Swindon before getting into trouble and remember he has played in the PL. He may be a tool, but he is still a decent player, much like our beloved Osvaldo.
  20. or a student... CatchupTV is your friend... Graeme Le Saux was also on but not as a contestant. Also rachel Riley is worth watching even if MLT is not on the show. First time I have stooped to watching daytime TV since retiring.
  21. Was it just coincidence that the first 6 letters of the conundrum were MALIBU? Matt's favourite tipple. He is very good at this Countdown stuff.
  22. How can he score infinitely more than Davis (6 goals for Saints) or even JWP (2 goals for Saints). I hope he does score, but I'm not expecting that from him, he is more defensively minded (though RK may be converting him into a more offensive role) and like Davis and JWP I expect him to be creating chances (note that does not mean assists) for others, an occassional goal would be a bonus.
  23. Pelle is exactly what the slow, cumbersome Chelsea defence needs, he would be playing into their hands. What we need is pace up front, a combination of JRod, Mane and Shlong would give Chelse real nightmares.
  24. How? Scored in one game, was awful in the one he scored in for 2/3 of the match, didn't play in one and drew a blank, including missing a sitter in the other two. Just can't see how that is "fairly reliable".
  25. Of the nominations it probably has to be Mane, but no-one really stands out. Trouble is everyone has been so inconsistent during September. Everyone was awful for most of the match against Man U, though Pelle did play well for first part and last 10 minutes (after he had asked to be subbed). Pelle was very average on Saturday and missed an absolute sitter after being set up by Juanmi for one of the simplest chances he will ever get. Virgil was terrible against Man U, but good on Saturday. Norwich was in August so doesn't count (September games are WBA, Man U, MK Dons and Swansea). Tadic went missing for most of the Man U game. Mane has not been at his best, but at least scored against Swansea plus 2 against MK Dons, so think he is probably the most deserving.
