Appreciate your sentiments but tbh and from my perspective he went about it the wrong way - didn't show any respect to club, team mates or the fans. If he had the reaction would be very similar to the reaction that SRL had. AL was the captain of the team has been with us through thick and thin but he just went about it the wrong way. I couldn't care less that we got a good fee for him or that he has gone to you. It's all about the right or wrong way of doing things. Oh and regarding the reaction to his leaving - I cannot remember a worse one to any if our players leaving not the Ox not Walcott not bale etc etc. It's going to be a weird atmosphere at SMS when we play you - standing ovation for SRL and constant abuse for AL.

There's a right way and a wrong way to deal with things - his way was the wrong way which showed little or no respect to his team mates, club and the fans. Can you really blame people for venting their displeasure? Christ on a bike he was the captain after all.

You keeping talking about advance - what would that have actually meant to you? What at the end of next season would have ticked that box? Genuinely want to know?

If that's the case then RK will be walking before he actually starts - please think before you post such rubbish. He knew who was likely to be going and who wasn't. He now has an opportunity to do something that most managers would never get the chance to do and that is build a team with significant funds at his disposal to enable that building.

Would want him to go but after the performance for France the other night where MS was sublime I'm more convinced he will. Someone with the talent he has actually deserves to be playing at a higher level.

Perspective. No it's not nice to lose what we feel is the heart and soul of the team but if the players that have left hearts wasn't in it then we should not want or try to keep them here. As most on here I've been watching this team rise through the leagues to get where we ended up last season but anyone who thought we would keep this team together once the big guns come calling is frankly kidding themselves. No point in blaming the board or Les Reed there hands are tied and given that both LS and AL laid out there plans to the club at the end of the season (or even slightly before if some of the media stories are true) then it wouldn't matter who was manager or on the board their minds were made up. I can't blame them wanting to try their hands at a different level - surely we in the same position would have done the same. It's not always about the money they get paid its about testing yourself to see how far you can go in the profession you have chosen. RK has a monumental re building job and only time will tell if that will be successfull but me for one is looking forward to seeing him attempt it and with good fortune achieve it. One things for sure it's never dull following SFC.
