It's going to be fine. Les Reed just texted me to confirm he is 'relaxed and confident'. Krueger dropped me a WhatsApp suggesting the 5 pledges are nearly ready. And Gao sent me a Tik Tok suggesting that 'We marchy on!'

Presumably it is a case of no ££££, rather than ineptitude. Whether that is due to the crazy historic signings, or linked to a takeover. It's poor though, whatever the reason. Wonder how Ralph will be if we don't bring in the 2-3 players he needs.

I suspect we'll see some differences in the fees of each player. £15M seems light for PEH, given we wanted £35M originally, and there was talk of £20M offered from other clubs. But...last year of the contract, and Spurs his chosen destination. £12M for KWP seems a bargain. There was suggestion that our sale of PEH would fund his replacement, so hopefully that's not in danger.

Seems strange that he lost his way so badly. Linked to Arsenal etc. Was he (is he) a decent manager? Will be very interesting to see where he goes next.
