  1. Gooooaaallllll
  2. Thing is Simon Saints fans did do many things to help, I know for a fact that at Chase Manhattan where I was working at that time there were loads of Saints fans that put into the weekly buckets that were passed around to save the AFCB. So then we play you on the night our mayor gets killed in a sea boat accident and you lot boo and hiss through the minutes silence! Ungrateful ...too bleeding right and all this crap about us always bringing it up is just you lot pretending it didnt happen and we helped bail you out and no burying your heads will change that. Having worked in Bournemouth for many years I have an affinity....even watched you a few times but after last season and the way you lot acted not a chance...don't want to see any club go out of business but you get what you deserve. I remember about 3 or 4 years ago I came to watch you play Gillingham who had about 60 fans....you had about 100 stewards surrounding them and the pitch!! Cost effective and well run my arse!
  3. We had the same problem yesterday with Hants cup as they do it in 2 year gaps u11 u13 u15 big problem being that between 13-15 there is a massive growth spurt for many and physical size in one year age can be massive. We played a Portchester u14 side who were a year younger...some of their players were just about coming up to the chest of our lot! We won 15-1 but neither side got anything out of the game really.....apart from the obvious!
  4. We only train once a week because a few also play for other teams and train with them, with school games as well we try not to overtrain and play them. I did a bit of research on the injury and it appears it is 15-40 year olds so just at the start of their age range. Thanks all will try a few suggestions as well with stretching and more muscle strengthening.
  5. Thanks yes you have - the thing is I do quite a bit of this and am puzzled why now...I split sessions into warm up, jogging, stretch, stamina, drill, technique and then finally small sided games and this has just started to happen. Huffton do I need sponsorship from Andrex and Specsavers?
  6. Does anyone else run a football team on here? We suddenly are experiencing a run of the same injury (3) groin ligaments 'popping' - all towards middle/end of sessions when the lads are well warmed up. All occurences are doing different drills, shooting, crossing and one just taking a penalty. Lads are all 14/15.
  7. Take the Skytrain to Howard Johnson then get a 7 day subway card ...its cheaper doing it that way. Staff are friendly and can help. Great value and so easy to get around. Some funny sights....like the guy trying to hump the hole in the ticket barrier at 2 am. Unbelievable musicians and buskers.
  8. Well someone has to pay for his talentless bints plastic surgery....
  9. I think I met her...she was wearing a Pompey crested burkha with braces and dungarees
  10. Loads of good advice on here already - do the Rockerfeller better than ESB. We stayed in Tribeca at the Cosmopolitan Hotel - didnt want to be near Times Square too noisy and touristy. Some great bars and delis locally and walking distance to Battery Park, Chinatown, South St Seaport, Financial, Brooklyn Bridge. Use the subway...get a 7 day pass its cheap quick, safe as houses. I felt safer in NY at night than I ever do in Southampton/London. Was a special birthday/anniversaey and ate at The View Marriot Marquis was fantastic.
  11. Well he just may get to see more of them next season after yesterday ;-)
  12. I also heard that today from an Everton fan that they had bid for Lallana.
  13. Wheater and Simeon Jackson
  14. I am not going to dispute any of the other posts on here but...I have met him 3 times. On every occasion he has taken the time to sign autographs, chat, photos etc with all the fans. He was the patron of a local charity that held a football tournament - he came to the prize giving and stayed for hours. He even did this when he left - the one year he couldnt make it he sent along another Saints player. The problem I have is we have this vision of BT scoring against the Skates and the cupping of his ear.....trouble is he is nowhere near that player now.
  15. Thats fine its what forums are for but it just annoys me when people post the "go and support Man city" rubbish. I believe you dont choose your team and can just switch off that easy.
  16. Yes of course its so easy to stop supporting isn't it....jeesh how many times do people have to post this cr8p! Because not everyone is a happy clappy red&white tinted glassses and are a bit concerned we didn't really strengthen in an area of weakness we should all stop going? I hope this guy does the business...I don't boo any Saints player but I am disappointed we didn't get a Wheater, Bikey proven sort - if that doesn't make me a super duper fan like you then I can live with it. I was going to post that if Fonte got injured we would have Seaborne and this guy but guess we could utilise Cork there.
  17. Wish I was as good a fan as you....still I have only done about 30 different away grounds and been a ST holder for many years and going since 1963. Whats your secret?
  18. But we have had months to get in a defender...you have to be completely nuts to not recognise that so why did we end up with a guy that has to travel and play in 5 countries to get a game and then cant and is obviously 4/5th choice? We should be a big draw for players with our position, facilities and club but for some reason it hasnt happened. We have him until January so will get my full support but I must admit that I am concerned.
  19. http://www.sheffwed.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=253406 To prove the point cheaters never prosper they lost on penalties. I guess he didnt give a toss as what if any players then got injured and he had used them all up.
  20. You may have a point ...but too many disappointing performances last year have made up the minds of some fans including me. He had a very good game against Millwall a game where I thought Fonte was poor in...against Leicester it was Fonte that made the slip but I got a few texts and saw a few comments on here about how crap Seaborne was. I think Seaborne is ok as a stop gap in certain games but if we want to push on we need someone better.
  21. hahahahah SteveGrant1983 Steve Grant by simonpeach di Canio has lost the plot (and part of the dressing room) already, post-match row with Leon Clarke, Clarke is getting dressed pitchside!
  22. IMO the only people that deserve a statue are Ted...and small ones in players lounges Terrry Paine and MLT
  23. Didnt Benali go and play for Forest on loan or did I dream that? Age!
  24. Seen the light? http://ht.ly/6eMly
  25. Cripes how poor defensively are Forest? 2 free headers inside the 6 yard box and goalie is rooted to his line. West Ham look as bad at the back but both sides good coming forward. McGuigan looks to be Forests best player. 0-3 and looks to be loads more goals for West Ham here
