But he doesnt play that role - or seem to like that role as he always plays behind Hammond. Now we could play Puncheon in that role - if he is still here or wants to be here. I personally dont think Hammond and Schneiderling play well together as too much the same. Morgan has had some good games lately and seems to have settled in some form so dont think changing his role is the right thing to do.

Yes it is a distraction and I couldnt give a toss about the game - I want automatic promotion and nothing else matters. Its the only way we will keep our better players, but isn't this what squads are for? I think we are still 3 players light from being a good squad for automatic promotion, fast winger and forward and another good box to box midfielder If Chaplow is out then we are stuffed. Gobern is Ok but we do not have the luxury of bedding him in.

I think we need to strengthen....still a Papa replacement...we have no pace! I know some think this may be mental but BWP on a loan until end of the season as Plymouth are desperate for cash and he is scoring in this league. He failed a permanent move because of a knee issue but we could get him for a few months for no risk. Connolly is almost finished and we just need a back up.

Having watched Dan Christian bowl this morning I hope we dont call him back....was disappointed in him in most games.

Adkins as I said has done well so far and I really hope we can continue our recent run especially getting a win at Oldham. I want out of this division ASAP and think Adkins can do that. As I posted last night Brighton, Huddersfield, Notts County, Orient and Sheff Wednesday all are in the next round so interfering with their hopes as well.

The problem I had with you that it wasnt rational you were saying this after a couple of games. You hadnt even given him a chance and it was based on a feeling you had. It was almost Alpine like ( see his Ashes thread on the first day). For what its worth I am still a bit concerned by Adkins, the Brentford game where he sat on his hands for 81 minutes has me wondering. A few other dodgy team tactics in games also - mainly away games. Those are based on his performances not on you being disappointed with his appointment. Adkins has done well for us so far but as you think anyone can manage the team and get us promoted we wont know till the end of season and if he fails then you can delight in saying "I told you so".

If that gets him playing well and gets us promoted that will be worth it don't you think??? Its called man management - some need an arm round them , some need a kick up the arse!

Really I never saw anything like that...in fact quite the opposite - especially on the packed tube going back to West Ham and Waterloo. I saw many fans give up seats - make way for the public with young kids etc. There was banter on the stations with both Daggers and West Ham fans. I saw both sets of fans chanting and jeering at each other on the way out ofthe ground but not one punch was thrown. 1200 fans there yesterday ...how many arrests....maybe 1 for over reacting to the goal. Chripes we are the new Millwall!

Absolutely spot on the money! How quickly people forget his weird and woeful substitutions and tactics - 6 players all playing on the wrong side. Nothing wrond with one or two but he had half the team in some games. Bringing on Saga with 2 mins to go when 2 down at home....Burley wasted millions here...other managers have cleared out squads as well and still done twice as good as he did!

Was at a 6 a side footie tournament at AC Delco and was chatting to Brett Ormerod who was supposed to be watching the kids he was with. All of a sudden there was a loud wailing and one of them had fallen off a swing and had a massive nose bleed.
