  1. I remember when there old yacht was moored near where I worked in Quayside Rd. A mate went on board and thought it was amazing. http://www.charterworld.com/index.html?sub=yacht-charter&charter=shemara-2176
  2. We have to rebuild a new squad as the others aren't playing for the manager ;-)
  3. I think he makes Hammond play better, they each know their role whereas I think Morgan and Hammond as a pair are too defensive and crab like. I certainly dont get too excited about MS goal scoring ability - the programme seller is threatened more than their goal.
  4. Exactly as I see it as well - Hammond looks far more suited to having Chaplow alongside him than MS. MS was far better yesterday than for months IMO. His pass to Chamberlain in the first half was probably his best of the season and far better than his crab like stuff. He can do it but needs to do this creative stuff far more - he has the ability but not the application in the last few months.
  5. Not true...there are loads in Southampton and local area. The Crown Highfield The Four Horshoes Nursling The Malthouse Michelmersh Old House at Home Romsey If you want cheap as chips value try the Luzborough 2 meals for a £10 pretty good.
  6. swfc Sheffield Wednesday by football_league Owls v Yeovil and Owls v Peterborough - both postponed. More at swfc.co.uk #swfc Wont help them with that fixture backlog either
  7. As for the academy I know for a fact that it was Liebherrs wish that the academy is improved and is the way he wants this club to be run. The academy bringing on players into the first team and not us wasting millions on useless players like in the past that havent improved the squad. Source...Liebherr to my mate who has a son in the academy.
  8. Well if we dont buy/loan one in the transfer window then I will agree with you but when did Adkins have the chance to get one in? Last season Pardew had a free scoring Lambert, Barnard(injured/nicked), Waigo and the pace of Antonio to call upon...Adkins has none of those to call upon.
  9. Well I take it you are very new to supporting Saints if you think we have been anything other than erratic crap ...I have been going since 1963 and its been like that since then. Ask Dalek about Tranmere. Other examples Wycombe, Oldham, Stockport from last season Notts Forest at home in CC Many defeats in league and cups to lower league opposition when we have tanked the top. PS If you have been going since the 50's you obviouly have not been watching whats on the pitch then.
  10. Mickey Rooney Daniel Defoe Charlie Carolli David Brent Freddie Parrot Face Davies Have more chance....but there are really some strange postings on here at times when it comes to signings.
  11. Fair enough but would she be happy either way ...I cant find the thread now anyway so will leave it there...
  12. You know this for certain.......how?
  13. My nipper has about 200 Match and MOTD magazines from about 2004/5 season to 2010 Anyone interested £10?
  14. The only change I saw was Chambelain and Guly swap...what else did we do?
  15. I agree Gemmell apart from the fans bit...there was a great 20 minute rendition second half but the team gave nothing back...nor did the manager.
  16. I lost quite a bit of respect for him on Saturday...any manager that makes one tactical change until 81 minutes when you are 0-2 down has me worried. There were loads of things he could of tried, Lallana in the middle, Dickson and Harding on the left, try Doble or Harlee Dean even changed Oscar for Hammond or MS. We should never ever play MS and Hammond at home again in the middle.
  17. Great post Teddy....if it will shut Dalek up once and for all I will admit it....even though I wasn't one of them. I didn't think he was the right man then and still don't now. Why....this says it all for me. In the run up to 1998 FIFA World Cup, he scored a hat-trick in a game for England B; despite this, he was controversially overlooked by manager Glenn Hoddle for the final squad, a decision that the player himself cited as a hiatus in his career after which his form never fully recovered.[15] Ironically, given his reputation for penalty taking, England exited the tournament after losing to Argentina in a penalty shoot out.
  18. Didnt sell enough last year?
  19. I thought he also had a cracking game at left midfield at home to MK Dons - he never gave a pass away and his pace down the left caused them problems. Playing deeper meant he wasnt always offside either ;-)
  20. Not that much of a fan that he used to work as an academy coach at Staplewood
  21. Puncheon is 24 and now on his 6th league club...that says it all for me. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jason_Puncheon
  22. Do you think this is new...or just since moving to SMS? I remember the stick (quite rightly) given to Melia and the atrocious Lew Chatterley at The Dell. Every club has fans that boo have you forgotten Arsenal treatment of Eboue, did u not hear Rooneys reception the other week? Players get boo'ed for reasons Fuller was a lazy **** before he went to Ipswich..he worked his arse of when he came back and the fans responded by chanting his name and applauding him.
  23. If your local to Soton try Harraps who have shops in Shirley and Totton - we have used them several times and they have never let us down yet.
  24. I saw 2 today - 1 old 1 the latest home strip. Another good day for England....have to finish it off now.
