If we get rid of MP while sitting in 10th place - why would any half decent manager come here with such high expectations in a league where we are generally considered a 8th-14th placed team.

I don't agree with replacing a manager after 8 league games with the club sitting 10th, but if it happened I would get Rafa and promise him some $$$ for transfers. De Boer is more the tippy tappy football with no end result like we have already and most dont like that style of football. Big Sam would at least be more direct, we will score more goals but style of football would take a turn for the worse. Could we tempt someone like Van Gaal? Probably not...

I'd still give him the season, he needs the balls to drop FF though as gifting goals no matter what sort of football you play in the PL will cost you points. Bring Hoedt back in for the next game also. We are sat 10th at the moment, not the end of the world - generally the first 10 games of the season the results are a bit skewed anyway. I might just be a glass half full type person though. I don't see any decent realistic alternatives out there and we will end up with either Moyes, Strachan or Allardyce ..

Things must be bad if you prefer to watch Yank Footie! I think the ball is in play about 12mins in total during the whole game - and a game takes about 3.5 - 4 hours? ...I like watching the highlights but watching a full game is zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Some other Dutch manager only lasted 4 games so who knows. I don't anyone expected Everton to get much early in the season, but they have performed pretty crap so far which is more eye opening. Wouldn't want him back. Think we have a decent manager and team, dare i say it, better than Evertons. Their back line is shocking.

This is the problem, most seem to realise we aren't a team full of world class players, but still seem to expect us to tonk teams 5+ nil every game.
