  1. I never had you down as such a bigot.
  2. I asked at the ticket office while picking up my ST and they said it's generally around 3 weeks before the game, so tickets will probably go on sale next week. As for transport for this, planes and trains have proved too expensive (on a small budget), so i'll be going on Nick Gregory's away supporters coach. Cheapest option.
  3. I pity the people who have no problem with this. Like I said, if Anderlecht had started a song about killing Muslims or Jews we'd all be criticising them (well, the rational ones would), so why is this ok? And my lack of "life experience" (whatever that means) doesn't mean I can't be offended by blatant racism.
  4. I got an infraction for saying that Cuba Gooding Jr was my favourite cricket commentator.
  5. There are estimated to be 1m migrant workers in their 20s in the country. The worrying thing is the ageing population part - 14%+ of the population are over 65. Means there will be big expenditure on the NHS over the next few decades. Apparently record numbers of Under Fives though, so at least we've got the 'next generation' sorted.
  6. Think it starts in August fellas.
  7. Wow, definitely did not disappoint! Answered lots of questions from the end of the last season (How did Walt poison Brock? What's his next move? Is Ted alive? Will he tell the police about everything?) and posed lots more. If you haven't watched this show already, start watching from the beginning now so you can be finished in time to see the end of Season 5 (second half of this season airs in October).
  8. Too much Glenmorangie and Glenfiddich drinkers on here - Glenlivet is twice the whiskey either of those are. Plus I have a vested interest as my Dad works for them
  9. Currently waiting up for the Premiere episode of Season 5 of Breaking Bad. Will write up about it after it finishes (4am GMT!).
  10. Bump! Like DP said in the other thread, tickets on sale on October 7th. Can't wait! Based on new information from prospective headlining acts I reckon we could see any of these: Lady Gaga (New album due out this year and will go on a world tour) Arcade Fire (New album out in 2013, will be doing the festivals that summer) Rolling Stones (Playing together this Autumn - will probably do a smattering of festivals) Blur (New material out now and will probably do a few festivals next year) Fleetwood Mac (Original line-up will be gigging together soon) Stone Roses (Recently reunited and will probably do a few festivals for the cash) Radiohead (Will have new stuff out by then and haven't played Glasto properly in a while - discounting the secret set at The Park)
  11. Vodka, Whiskey or Jagermeister to mix. Jagermeister best for shots too. Not a huge fan of neat spirits anymore though...
  12. Just to clarify I think Celtic or anyone else chanting sectarian songs is just as disgraceful as Rangers too. My anger is not just at the fact that it exists but mainly that they would be so disrespectful to sing it at SMS.
  13. Rafal Wolski from Legia. Highly talented 19 year old attacking midfielder. Quick, good passing, incredibly composed and astounding skill. Played for Poland in the Euros. Would be an excellent signing. You can see from tonight that we're toying with the idea of playing 4-5-1, he would be perfect 'in the hole'.
  14. Nige said post match that the deal is "done and dusted", so no worries there. Rangers don't have a leg to stand on in this situation anyway.
  15. Spot on Ludwig.
  16. I've read the official case notes (housemate is a law student and has access to the database) and basically the judge agrees that while there is a very strong case against Terry, unless you're 100% sure of the malicious intent behind those words you cannot pass a guilty verdict. However, if Ferdinand wants to take the case to the crown court they will bring in experts to try and uncover more clear evidence on the incident which could see Terry in lots of trouble indeed. EDIT: Link above contains the case notes I saw, law students aren't so special after all!
  17. Couldn't see Cortese anywhere today, possibly with Clyne talking business? Wouldn't surprise me.
  18. I'm 20, although I don't think age comes into it. Singing about spilling fenian blood etc is not on. If it was Arsenal or Anderlecht singing a song about killing Muslims or Jews i'm sure people would be kicking up a fuss, so why should that kind of anti-Catholic bile be tolerated from Rangers?
  19. Anyone else in the Northam today near those Rangers fans? It was all a laugh and a bit of banter until they started singing sectarian chants. No f*cking place for that sh!te at my club. Apparently they moved to the Kingsland after the first game. W4nkers. Why would you go to somebody elses club and do that kind of thing? Disgraceful and has taken away any respect I may have once had for Rangers or their fans.
  20. Called the UFO tour because he was popping up in Southern towns in front of drunken hillbillies Personally i'll believe it when I see it with UFOs. I believe we're not alone in the universe though.
  21. Paul Wotton, most definitely. Aside from scoring that decisive penalty to put us through in the JPT against Norwich, did he do anything else? Nice bloke and a decent pro though - now back at Plymouth.
  22. From that video he looks f*cking quick which is a good thing. Some real pace at the back for once since...well, since I started supporting Saints! Price is a snip too. Great deal for us.
  23. GK: Kelvin Davis (+2 more) = 3 RB: Frazer Richardson, Danny Butterfield (+1 more) = 6 LB: Danny Fox, Alexander Buttner (NHG) = 8 CB: Jose Fonte (NHG), Jos Hooiveld (NHG), (+2 more) = 12 CM: Steven Davis (NHG), Jack Cork, Morgan Schneiderlin, Richard Chaplow = 16 RM: Steve De Ridder (NHG), (+1 more) = 18 LM: Adam Lallana, (+1 more) = 20 ST: Rickie Lambert, Jay Rodriguez, Billy Sharp, Tadanari Lee (NHG), Guly Do Prado (NHG) = 25 U21: Jack Stephens, Luke Shaw, James Ward-Prowse, Calum Chambers Get Rid: Tommy Forecast, Dan Seaborne, Dan Harding, Ryan Dickson, Dean Hammond, Jason Puncheon, Jonathan Forte, Lee Barnard That gives us a squad of 25, allowing for 7 more additions (although there won't be that many). The priority is at least 1 CB, 1 RW and 2 GKs.
  24. Fair point, he was excellent last season. Personally I think he'll be a great 2nd choice RB, but I don't think he has the potential to improve with the club. He'll be a very steady back-up which is a good thing, but what we need is a younger, more dynamic attacking full-back with some pace. Frazer is good going forward, but he's not the best on the ball and lacks the pace to beat his marker - that's pace that Clyne and Naughton both have.
  25. He's an unknown quantity but if Nige and Nicola think he's worth that then it's fine by me! Could've sworn they accepted 4m Euros though before all this third party nonsense.
