  1. Please do not give either Walcott or Bertrand a new contract. neither are good enough
  2. Never a penalty
  3. WTF was that substitution from Saints about? They look all over the place and what sort of s**te attempt at a save from Macarthy was that?
  4. No Bertrand? He looks like a player that can be a nuisance when things are not going well but all brightness and light when things are going well.
  5. Where was this performance on Sunday?
  6. Wow, just wow! Hoping for the best and expecting the worst. Assume Salisu at LB unless he is going 3 at the back. They should waltz through the middle of the park - Armstrong is an attacking midfielder not a holding midfielder. Do not understand the recall for Macarthy at all.....Forster has actually done nothing wrong.
  7. You do understand the irony of what you have just posted don't you? Teams forming new League bad but OK to pillage other Leagues to invite them into the Premier league. And the difference is what exactly?
  8. Honestly, living here in the US I think you may have miscalculated (as have some of the owners of the 'Big 6') the American view on this. Kroenke is a piece of scum and moved the Rams from St Louis to LA without a moments thought - the American view on sports is very different and all franchise based without any promotion/relegation considerations. It works in the US context because of College drafts (baseball, ice hockey, NFL, MLS and other sports all operate this way) and without the concept of transfer fees (typically trading players for draft picks, etc) and with salary caps. What these pieces of s**t are talking about is nothing more than a money grab. As for the comments about "legacy fans" - that sums them up and how badly they have miscalculated the reaction. They might not care now but the plastic fans won't hang around when "their" team does badly and we already know what the endgame for these c**ts is: lots of games in the Far East and the US to maximize the amount of money they can make. Diabolical and hope the UK Government puts paid to this.
  9. Good day for the scum Levy to bury bad news eh? Rotten club. Spurs and Arsenal "Super League" material my arse. All about the money
  10. Just like the players, couldn't give a toss and no interest in the rest of the season
  11. Suggest a bit of both. No way should Bertrand or Walcott get new contracts - I think we are stuck with Ralph as we can't afford to get rid of him. But Saints are a shambles and, like previous comments, I fear for next season
  12. No Plan B, timid, pathetic performances and today was the final straw. No ambition, attacking intent and cowardly.
  13. How is this any different from the Pellegrino/Hughes era? I actually think they had more fight then than they do now. Abject, pathetic performance and if Bertrand, Redmond and Walcott never pulled on a Saints shirt again I'd be happy. Also be quite happy if Ralph leaves in the summer - he really doesn't seem to have a clue
  14. Our Plan B has them really worried. Ralph knows how to mix it up and react to the opposition. Actually, I can see why he runs out of steam at every club around this time. Absolutely no way of adapting to the opposition or using new tactics. So one dimensional and we were worked out months ago yet the system has remained the same. SO much for the team being up for this game. Going out with a whimper and not a single shot on target.
  15. Spineless, gutless performance from a very poor team and a very poor manager. They can all fuck right off
  16. Gotta have a shot on target first.....
  17. F****** disgraceful performance. Hassenhuttl is not the manager for Saints. He is out of ideas and this timid, scared performance sums us up
  18. Terrible performance. Like watching 11 statues. Cowardly performance....not a single shot, or even close to a shot. No evidence of desire or hunger out there. Bertrand, Diablo, Redmond all terrible that half
  19. Man City Disgusting greed and 'pretend' big clubs like Spurs and Arsenal take the biscuit. Kick them out, ban any players from World Cup and Euros and lets see how long this charade exists. Germany and France have said no so it's not a SUper League anyway, more of a money grab
  20. Typically, it's because there are a bunch of utter t***s on social media and many self-entitled brats. Personally I hate social media and the real damage it does to people's mental health. Social media is a giant echo chamber.
  21. I don't think anyone could argue against the fact that the second half of the season has been disappointing based on the optimism we had but win on Sunday and that would be a huge achievement for us.
  22. So you're saying this season is a massive disappointment yet we are in an FA Cup Semi (our only realistic shot of silverware is a Cup) with a decent chance to make the Final. If we win the Cup will you still say it is a disappointing season? We are a bang average team that punched above its weight at the start of the season and due to numerous circumstances we have punched below our weight second half of the season. But to call a Cup semi and never any realistic chance of relegation a "massive disappointment" feels like an overreaction.
  23. What on earth are some of you muppets expecting - Messi? He is an average Prem striker who works exceedingly hard for the team and has a better goal scoring record than Long. He is of the standard Saints are at right now as a team. Average - but what else can we expect? If he was a superstar he wouldn't be playing for Saints.
  24. Big guy deserves his own thread. So pleased he has come back from the problems he had and wanted to stay and fight for his place at Saints. He has been excellent since coming back into the side and I swear his vocal nature helps the defence. Made some excellent saves today to preserve our lead and I like his distribution and the fact he is decisive coming for balls in the box. So pleased for him - so much better than McCarthy. Can't believe some muppets were blaming him for Burnley's second goal when it was the awful Bednarek's fault.
  25. Europe has f****d their populations over right royally. Here in the US (with the exception of California and New York and the surrounding States) we have not really had lockdowns. Those that locked down have the same results as those who did not (base don per capita). Of course COVID is bad for certain demographics - for most it is an inconvenience (I was wiped out for 3 days with it but nothing other than that and my kids and work colleagues in their early 20s had some sniffles only). Talk of vaccine passports is abhorrent and is something you would expect of China not Europe. Slippery slope beckons...... People should be allowed to decide for themselves what level of risk they are happy to accept not be forced by a Government and 'scientific' advisors to shut themselves away for ever. Wake up and look at the mental health issues lockdown has caused. The sooner fans are back in the stadium the better.
