Adams has started 10 games in all competitions and come on as a sub in 12 in all competitions. His stats are 0 goals and 2 assists (1 in the League). When he was starting our results were terrible (not all his fault as the tactics were poor). He will never be a Prem player - at least not for Saints. he is now 4th choice striker and looks extremely poor compared to the other 3 options (including a 19 year old rookie and a 33 year old Long).

He's now relegated to 4th choice striker, behind Long and Obafemi. Difficult to see him having any future here beyond the summer and honestly looks out of his depth right now as a Prem footballer.

Draw was a fair result - very evenly matched teams - but VAR leaves a bad taste in the mouth -

Just not Saints day. VAR has been Spurs 12th man today -

Problem is, he has done nothing all season. Given a lot of chances but clearly out of his depth. Get rid in the summer -

Jon Moss on VAR is an absolute disgrace. Clear handball and not even reviewed. What a joke. -

Obafemi played well - almost no service. Now the non-threatening Adams has to show something -

Danso is so far out of his depth it is unfunny. What a terrible signing he has been and totally pointless (even as a loan). What a flat display overall today - very disappointing. -

VAR is a f***** joke. How the f*** was that called as a foul in the buildup? -
bugger off you miserable sod! Was it really that long ago when it was SaintsForever? Oh the intrigue with the Wilde takeover and posters going into meltdown and club plants posting. All got quite tasty! Franks Cousin - as someone posted on this thread - used to really get into it with CB and Turkish(?). Amusing stuff. Going further back - Minty was a quality poster and had his own site and forum at one time. He used to post on here a little bit. Anyone know what happened to him (aside from getting a life!)?

That is totally insane. Leicester wanting Vestegaard now Everton willing to shell out 35 million for PEH (allegedly) - totally mad.

Patred - another old boy that suffered from ill health and posted more recently on the UI. Hope he is still with us

Palace 0-2 Saints. Wild celebration reaction thread.

Jack's passing out of defence is a joy. His ball to set up Redmond for the first was exquisite! I love seeing the passion for the club him and JWP have - makes it all the sweeter when we have players coming through the ranks doing well. -
Blimey - bit of a comedown from Dubai if true!

Thinking back to some of the regular posters on here from recent/older times and wondering whatever happened to them. For starters: Alpine_saint: the poster everyone loved to hate but contributed greatly. You could set your watch by when the complaints would start we were nailed on to do well! Saint Charlie View from the Top: no nonsense and always entertaining Dubai Phil - miss the stories of his golfing exploits Art - mad as a box of frogs but very entertaining Saint 76er Sure there's many, many more...........

Difficult for the guy playing a bit part role at Saints but you have to say he looks very far removed from a Premiership player. Yesterday when he came on he was very poor (admittedly with little service) but he never looks like scoring. IF we were able to get a good replacement in then no problem with Adams moving on.
-
Hojberg is very, very poor. So sloppy in possession (often giving the ball away under no pressure) and slow of thought and movement. A good replacement for him in the summer is badly needed....if we can get a good player in that position then we are in good shape with JWP there (who has been a revelation this season). Cannot believe any top clubs would be looking at Hojberg as he is simply not good enough.
-
No point trying to rebuild in January, it will have to wait until the summer. Then, hopefully a massive clear out: Forster Elyounoussi Hoedt Bertrand Vestegaard Hojberg Lemina Boufal Adams Carillo and Cedric and Yoshida out of contract. Without a major rebuild in the summer we will struggle next year too

Not a good day at the office. 2-0 flattered us at HT and we just did not turn up 2nd half. JWP aside, midfield was terrible and the central defence was like the Keystone Cops again. We are very much an average side that had a hot streak. Shame we could not keep it going but now regroup and start again - we'll be fine in terms of relegation but we do need a massive clear out and recruitment in the summer. The squad is very poor. For me, Forster Elyounoussi Hoedt Carillo Boufal Adams Yoshida Vestergaard all need to go (if anyone would have them). We are fragile and WOlves outfought and outplayed us today.
-
Aside from JWP our midfield has been non-existent. Wolves cutting through like a hot knife through butter. Hojberg absolutely awful again.
-
Back to comic book defending - utter ****e.

Bednarek having an absolute nightmare today

Normal service is resumed.....

Ironically, I don;t think we have played very well 1st half (Hojberg wasteful again in possession) but 2 cracking goals. We are such a solid side now - lets hope it continues 2nd half and Djneppo comes on with 20-30 minutes left to take advantage of a tired Wolves side
-
Ings has proven me wrong (not difficult) - I really thought he was a duff buy but boy is he on fire. Absolutely fantastic to see - with more luck he could have had 4 or 5 today
