If i were you i'd concentrate on getting your head down and doing the work rather than whining on here every five minutes. Everybody has had crap managers, the only way to get them off your back is work hard, it really is that simple. Failing that ask your mum to speak to her.

Whereabouts are you?

If anyone suggests that Fox isn't trying i'd say the abuse could be excused, to hide behind a keyboard and spout abuse because he's not up to scratch is out of order. The management have chosen to play him, they've also chosen not to find a replacement in the summer, it's hardly Fox's fault. Would you all be behind him if he turned round and told the manager that he can't play because some of the fans don't rate him?

But we didn't force him out on gardening leave and put a completely inexperienced 23 year old in his place because we're mates with his dad. -

They are screwed, imagine waiting all those years to get in the top flights, all those nearly moments and then they finally get there and the owners ego starts going into overdrive. I'd imagine MM will walk, and some nobody will take over. Poor ****ers. -

I don't want to get into a slanging match or a **** waving contest which seems to be the norm on the forum these days but i didn't lump Gosport in with Portsmouth, i was stating that even Gosport has decent attractions. I'm also pointing out that investment has been made in Portsmouth whereas Southampton seems to be left behind. I agree we have many more green spaces in Southampton, but people's impressions of a city is usually made on things to do and parks are usually the reserve of the local population. -

If anyone thinks that Portsmouth is as bad or worse than Southampton they're kidding themselves, the place feels like its had money spent on infrastructure and overall has a more modern feel. Plus they've managed to get investment into the Historic Dockyards, Gunwharf, Sealife Centre, The Spinnaker Tower, D-Day museum, Royal Marines Museum, The Royal Armouries Museum. Even bloody Gosport has the Submarine Museum and Explosion and the 17th. Century Village. Southampton has ****ed up and is missing a trick, Portsmouth has no more history than us, they've just chosen to make more of it. What are our attractions? The New Forest and Paultons Park! Why has there not been more progress on the Titanic attraction (more famous worldwide than the Victory) and why has there been no celebration of the Spitfire aside from a crappy replica near the airport? It's a disgrace and i'm amazed more hasn't been made of it. -

There's not much to do in Southampton unless you like shopping, the council have dropped the ball in the last 20 years especially when compared to Portsmouth and the amount of investment the council has managed to get. -

Balls to this ticket fuss, anymore rumours? Prince, Bowie and Foo Fighters are being tipped by the bookies apparently, and they've stopped taking bets on Fleetwood Mac. -
Being a wallflower doesn't work in the Hip-Hop culture, if you want to be the biggest and the best you've usually got to be an arsehole. There are better rappers/producers out there but they've don't have the required ego to be superstars. Personally i quite like some of Kanye's music but he's slipped in the last couple of years lyrically IMHO.

Ribble are very good value for money and will probably have better resale than a Specialized, Trek, Giant etc. If you ever decide to blow the cash there's a very, very good framebuilder in Southampton called demonframeworks they sound really expensive but it would be the same as buying a Savile Rowe Suit, a mate of a mate has one and its stunning.

He's very self-involved but in a funny way, and he does alude to the fact that his comedy doesn't travel particularly well especially over here. I think he's right but it does make you wonder why Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Frasier worked over here so well.

There was a place in the parade of shops opposite The Bittern Pub in Thornhill that used to do Ribs etc. which was OK, closed years back though.

Hi Apologies for the late reply, my friend has been difficult to get hold of due to work, he's got back to me and recommended a number of places. Three Blue Ducks - http://www.threeblueducks.com is owned/run by 3 former chefs from Tetsuya's which as you probably know was/is the best restaurant in Sydney in many people's opinion. It's kind of a Tapas style where you share small plates of food. Bodega and sister restaurant Porteno - Come highly recommended and again is a Tapas style restaurant, Porteno's chef was voted 2013 Chef of the Year in the Sydney Morning Herald Marque - One of your suggestions is well-liked by my friend as well. and his own favourite is any of the Stefano Manfredi restaurants, his favourite is Balla. Hope this hasn't come too late and have a great time. Cheers.

It is quite mental that there are no US style BBQ restaurants around, what with the popularity of shows like Diners, Drive-Ins & Dive's and Man Vs. Food.

Fair enough, i still think a steel or Ti frame rides with much more feel than an Aluminium or Carbon frame. Good luck.
-
If i had a grand to spend i'd be looking at something classic like a steel Ciocc, Colnago, Pinarello, De Rosa etc. you'll have a perfectly usable bike that will not lose any value and will be admired by many. Modern carbon bike are ok but they have no soul and every tom, **** and harry in a SKY kit seems to be riding identical bikes with different badges. Just my opinion.

Daring to dream - What would we need to do to reach the Champions League?

I hope this thread doesn't start doing the rounds, there's dreaming and then there's saying it out loud. -
I like the Juscelino Kubitschek bridge in Brasilia, the capitol of Brasil. Modern and quite simple looking but pleasing on the eye.
