  1. For those that can't get to the game or watch on Sky, does anyone know where you can watch it online? Sorry if this already has a thread, I couldn't see one. Merci.
  2. Agree it's the best draw we could have hoped for, but the result will by no means be a formality. Norwich, by all accounts, are up there with us and Leeds as one of the best teams in this League so they will feel they can beat us. It could be a very tight game, but we have no reason not to be confident in our own ability.
  3. He's a **** for what he did to Luton, so that Sky interview just topped it all off. Definitely good riddance.
  4. I think the latter approach but would suggest a maximum of 2 players. Any more than that and it could take a long time for the team to gel again.
  5. Delighted with another victory and particularly pleased to see Lambert scoring again. Seems we have a genuinely prolific goalscorer who has the ability to score in any game. Yay! There's absolutely no reason now why we can't win this competition now, teams will be fearing us. Keep it up Pards.
  6. I used to like Chinese takeaways from England until I moved to China, when I realised they're actually horrendous versions of proper Chinese food.
  7. Haha I remember that one. Wasn't it against Dennis Irwin for Wolves? It was never a dive, KP tripped himself up. I can remember everyone at the time unfairly slating him. It wasn't a penalty either.
  8. From what I saw of him, Mellis has been a little hit and miss since he joined, but he's still raw and learning the game so that can be forgiven. It'd be great if we could sign him permanently but I can't see that happening, so a season long loan is probably the best we could hope for. I don't think he's a contender to start any time soon with the way our midfielders are playing at the moment, but it's nice to have him as an option to bring off the bench or as back up. Would definitely would like to see us try and secure his services until the end of the season.
  9. It looks great over here in China. Can't see how anyone could see this post as anything other than positive - some people seriously need to get out more. 6 wins in 7 isn't something we do often, let's enjoy it.
  10. Totally unfair reaction from certain posters, but then again that's what we've come to expect from members like TDD.
  11. Massive, massive lol at "Because he is sometimes offside he is a bad player".
  12. He was right though.
  13. No I know, I was just saying that I wouldn't particuarly want most of them back.
  14. Because of how the team is playing, the only two I'd really welcome back out of that lazy lot are Surman and JP Saijs. That shows how fantastic Pardews signings have been. But imagine having JPS on the bench behind Jaidi and Trotman, with Perry and Thomas as emergency cover! That would be too good really, unfair on other teams perhaps. What a nice subject to be talking about though. It's very unusual. For me I'd say a toss up between Harding, Hammond and Lambert, because they filled positions that we have been lacking in for years. But then that's harsh on Jaidi, Trotman, Murty, Connelly (let's wait and see if he can stay fit, please please please) and Waigo!
  15. Are these photos on any other site at all? Facebook is banned in China.
  16. Yep it won't be a problem, especially if your parents detatch the ticket stub before getting to the gate. The stewards take the stub and never even think about checking whether or not the correct person is trying to gain entry, or whether through the right gate.
  17. Lol at the smurfs suggestion, fantastic tune! Can you imagine the Northam singing that in unison and swaying as one? Would be worth the ticket price alone just to see it.
  18. Well that's a damn shame. The attendance will now be much smaller than it would have been, and we'll almost definately lose. Although it does mean I might be able to watch it in Vietnam.
  19. Real shame for Gillett - he's just been unlucky. Last season he was our best performer without a doubt (no, actually, that was Kelv) but this season we have bought in a better player for his position. He hasn't had a proper chance this season so slating him for his performances this year is totally unfair. He hasn't even played a full 90 minutes, so anyone saying he's been our worst performer this term is somewhat deluded. Did you not see Lancashire at Swindon? Thompson's been pretty poor too. I wouldn't have him in our first team at the moment (which shows how much we've improved) but I still rate him and he'll do well in the Championship.
  20. Of course. There's no better keeper than Kelv in League 1 or probably the Championship either. We're bloody lucky to have him!
  21. I know a fella called Simeon Jackson, he's meant to be quite good. Err.. any others?
  22. Let's not be silly (said in the nicest possible way). He's a very successful businessman. Faith won't get in the way of earning money to a man like him, and if Saints are in the Premiership then he can earn some serious dosh. If you were at Swindon you'd understand. The game, tactics, substitutions and over all play was cringeworthy, not the criticism AP received. However, that all seems to be in the past now
  23. Same for me. That night I seriously worried about him but since then things have improved greatly. AP is such a refreshing change from the previous dross we've been dealt (Nigel Pearson excluded) in recent years.
  24. It's hard to tell on the highlights but the key for me is the fans behind the goal didn't appeal at all, and the surrounding defenders hardly flinched. Only the keeper protested with any meaning and that was more likely due to embarrassment. Fair goal I'd say, not that I'd care if it wasn't - we deserve a bit of luck.
  25. It was just nice to have someone (Trotman) there waiting for a slip up and actually wanting to score. Desire! Hoorah!
