  1. I pay monthly, and it cost £3.99. If you pay in a lump sum though it's slightly cheaper. No ST discount.
  2. I think I'd rather watch the X Factor than sit through that dreadful 90 minutes again!
  3. Yeah I reckon that would work. It's something a bit different, which we desperately need!
  4. Yes we can. Hansard is available for anyone to view on the parliament website, entries on there date back years and years. It makes for good bed time reading!
  5. So not only is Anthony Pulis a dodgy footballer, he's a pretty bad source of information too judging by what you told us.
  6. Getting fed up with the amount of managers losing their jobs so early into their seasons/careers. Why give Barnes the job if you're not going to give him a fair chance? And Peter Taylor at Wycombe - he got them promoted last season ffs. 11 games in, that's all forgotten about, you're out. I agree with bungle on this one. Football is a joke sometimes.
  7. Yep. This was the first game that came to mind for me too. The place was rocking, and it wasn't our fans making all the noise! The game was on Sky too if I remember correctly. You must be thinking of a different occasion. They were very loud.
  8. Sensible move for all concerned. He should do well there.
  9. If everyone was fit I'd say Davis Murty Jaidi Trotman Harding Waigo Schneiderlin Hammond Lallana Connolly Lambert Subs: Bialkowski, Thomas, James, Mellis, Gillett, Saganowski, Paterson, Mills. The only problem with that line up being that Lallana doesn't seem as involved on the wing as he does upfront. Perhaps Connolly has been brought in as an "bring him off the bench when needed" man? Though I'd have thought he'd be too good for that if fit.
  10. Could be a great signing. I think it says a lot that the Sunderland fans like him so much. He's exactly the sort of player that could do well in League One and Pardew has snapped him up. AP's signings so far have been spot on, well done AP and the board.
  11. The game is being played at St Mary's.
  12. Will definately be an error.
  13. It makes me laugh how some people slag off players because "all they do is score goals". Now Rasiak is gone, we need a new goalscorer to slate! So far Waigo fits the bill.
  14. Pearson is a good manager and a decent bloke and I hope he continues to bring success to Leicester, and I think Pardew will be alright too. Not many people are seriously slagging off AP are they? Sober people aren't at least.
  15. We can't do better than Davis, despite his faults. I'm delighted we've still got him.
  16. Kelvin never has been the finished article, but I know that I'm definately happier with him in the team than without. He's the best keeper in this league by a long way, possibly even better than any the Championship has to offer. But yes he was at fault yesterday for both their goals, it happens I suppose. As for penalties, with Lambert in the team it looks like we'll score most of them - he just looks confident. It's nice to have a few confident players for once.
  17. Anthony Pulis is a Saints player? What? When did this happen?
  18. Yep, because we won the shoot out. The rules of the competition state that if the scores are level after 90 minutes then the result will be decided by penalty shoot out, which we won. We won the game. I don't even know what you're talking about really as I've no idea we have a prediction league here, but I do know that tonights result was not a draw. We won the game so be happy if that's what you predicted.
  19. You must know? We didn't draw did we, we're through. We won. Not sure about this question. As for the game, pretty dire overall. Not a good performance but it turned out an entertaining evening. First half we were playing two very wide men yet still lofting the ball up to Lambert. Rubbish tactics. Why haven't we learnt that the long ball to Lambert does not work? Really worrying. Perry and Thomas at the back looked very weak and every time Torquay got near our box they looked like they could score, I'm surprised Pardew changed both our centre backs. Our distribution from the defence was the worst aspect of their performance though - it was non existant. With Trotman and Jaidi you know their passes and clearances will reach a red and white shirt, but with Thomas and Perry it was a case of "close your eyes, hoof, and hope for the best". Better in the second half, unfortunately Gillett wasn't good tonight - and I'm a big fan of his. Shame because tonight was a good chance for him to shine. Waigo was up for it, Lambert held the ball well but we still played it long too often. The good thing was that wasn't our first team. If it was we'd have reason to be concerned, but even so, you'd still expect that team to easily beat Torquay really. Oh well, a win is a win. Oh and how good were our penalties? I absolutely expected us to lose the shoot out, but our pens were fantastic. Bevan didn't stand a chance! Have we been practicing?
  20. Hmmm... I'm not sure many on here would agree with you on that mate. I don't think there is that much difference between Dia and Le Tiss. Le Tiss didn't exactly score many for Saints did he?
  21. Can't disagree with that.
  22. In todays Echo. He said if Mellis and Lallana were available he'd have named the same team and would look to take a few off on 65 minutes if we're in a position to do so. I'd like to see Holmes and Gillett come in, who we all know are decent players but haven't had a chance to show it yet this season.
  23. This trophy will not be easy to win. To get to the final we'll have to beat teams in our own league and we haven't managed that too many times this season. Fingers crossed though.
  24. No, Gillett hasn't been shocking. He's made just two short substitute appearances and in neither was he "shocking". Also I doubt Pardew wants to get rid of both Forecast and Bialkowski as that would leave us with one goalkeeper in the squad as Poke is on loan at Torquay.
