  1. I know, I was surprised too. As well as that little lad, and Charlotte, there is going to be a third on the way. So, how that will affect the Watford game it's not abundantly clear yet but it's something to consider.
  2. You'd imagine the announcement of the third Royal baby could play a part in this one somehow, which would be bloody typical
  3. Not sure he's got the quality to really step up to the Marx
  4. Disappointing, good player
  5. It's pronounced Ol-lah-la Ol-mah-lol-lar
  6. McCarthy Cedric Hoedt Yoshida Bertrand ------Romeu ---- Lemina Redmond ------------- Boufal --------Austin Gabbi subs: Forster, Stephens, McQueen, Pied, Tadic, Davis, Long We can't keep rewarding horrendously poor footballers with places in Premier League starting line ups and match day squads. We're not a charity. It's noble to want to support local youngsters by giving them a chance to be a professional football player, but if they can't play football then we can't continue with the experiment. We must be the only club in the land who prioritise being a "nice lad" over having ability.
  7. Was unfortunate enough to watch the whole game tonight and worryingly can't single out one Saints player who played well. Scared, slow to react, tried fancy stuff when a simple option was on, painful.
  8. There are many circumstances when wet knickers are preferable to dry ones, so I'll take that.
  9. Would loooooove it if Theo comes home, he's always been open to the idea but has said previously it would be in the twilight of his career ideally. Let's see
  10. Played the full 90 as Birmingham lost 2-0 at home to Reading http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40983501
  11. Probably goals. He was often our biggest goal threat last season.
  12. Reasons to be positive: Performance wise, it will never, ever get worse than that JWP is finished as a Prem footballer We got the luckiest point in the history of professional football
  13. Prowse has the chance to play in a teammate for a one-on-one, decides to fall over and claim he was fouled. Good player though.
  14. When you find yourself longing for the days when Puel was in charge, you know things are desperate.
  15. When you find yourself longing for the days when Puel was in charge, you know things are desperate.
  16. Shambolic doesn't begin to cover it
  17. Would imagine JWP won't play for fear of picking up an injury. Hearing Bristol Rovers and Burton have enquired about loan deals for him. Would be a disaster for the club if we can't offload him due to injury.
  18. We need to take care of Tom28. He's like our local priest. He's our gateway to God. Ok so he's not up in heaven with the bearded fella but he's clearly got his Whatsapp. Tom28 we admire you, we respect you, you are everything to us.
  19. Maya Yoshida baby Maya Yoshida woooaaahhh Good lad, we need him.
  20. Hudders will be well up for it and have started well but I can actually see us winning this one. Perhaps 1 or 2-0. Gabbi and Austin to score off the bench. Davis to play a blinder followed by a shocker in the next game.
  21. I'm one of JWP's biggest fans, think he's a top bloke and an honest player. He's just unfortunately not a good footballer but again I'm not knocking him, cause neither am I!
  22. They paid us money for him? Bloody hell. Les Reed wins.
  23. Wesley Hoedt Wesley Hoedt Signed for the Saints yesterday On a 5 year deal Two years longer than most players sign at new clubs So that's got to be a good thing Wesley Hoedt Centre back for Netherlands Now a Southampton player
  24. A quality striker in, and JWP out would cap off a great window and really get the fans excited for the season.
  25. Would be a shame if we go back to playing JWP against Wolves as it'll be tantamount to admitting we're not interested in this cup this year. But admittedly we do need to put him in the shop window so it's a tricky one.
