  1. With the rumours coming out of the PSG shirt manufacturers today, seems not all is rosy whatsoever at PSG. Something about a dispute over the spelling of "Neymar" and the type of adhesive used to put his name on the shirts. Fans not happy, player livid, and the manufacturer threatening to pull out of the deal all together. Expect to see Neymar pick up a mysterious "knock" and be unavailable for a few weeks.
  2. Unfortunately this forum has been overrun with trolls. Shame the mods aren't cracking down on it really.
  3. No absolutely, I don't think this can be denied. In fact the degree in which Disco Stu has misunderstood the Palace performance and what it means for the rest of the season is what I think can only be described as mind-boggling. And as Churchill himself so famously said "this is something we can all agree on, yes?" Oh Disco. Disco Stu!

    PEH

His partner apparently has had what I think you can only describe as a baby, and he has gone onto become what I think most of us would argue that he is, which is the father of that baby. He is now responsible for taking care of that child in terms of providing warmth, food and a place to live.
  5. Dasch vutbal. Somtimesch you lose in a physchical way.
  6. Think you should lay off the pills at the Disco, Stu.
  7. The fact JWP hasn't yet had his chance to prove himself with regular games in League 1 or 2 is very harsh on the lad. I know I've been critical of his performances in the past, but to be fair to him he's playing in the big boys league when he's only Under 10s. Anyone in the same position as him would struggle. He is in desperate need of a loan move to try and resurrect his career. The fact he keeps being chosen to play in the Premier League is just unfair on him - as it would be if any of us suddenly had to don our boots and play in midfield for the Saints. We'd all be god awful too!
  8. Always hate arrogant posts like this which come back to bite us. Each one of those sides listed there will be saying the same about us. We'll be in their list of absolute gash which will be their saving grace so let's not pretend we are better than any of those teams. It's going to one hell of a slog for survival and we've started horribly against fellow clubs who will struggle.
  9. Sacrilege.
  10. From the videos on Saints' twitter it doesn't look like VVD was at fault for at least 3 of them. The first one he was out of position, but the others seem like decent finishes, or just not his responsibility. He'll be a beast when back match fit.
  11. So it's true that ex-managers do still post on here. Bonjour Claude That explains those on here who still defend JWP too. They're his family or school mates. Totally fair enough if you're related to Puel or Prowse that you'd want to stick up for them, that's called being a good friend and protecting your loved ones. But don't expect those of us who have no dog in the fight to say nice things about your boys when it's blatantly true that they did/are doing a horrific job at Southampton Football Club. Just try not to take it personally, and hats off to you for defending the indefensible.
  12. Championship? That's extremely optimistic.
  13. We can't expect to go up against teams like Crystal Palace and win, especially when it's possible that JWP and Forster might start. As long as we work hard then we should be happy. Sure we'll lose 2 or 3 nil but for a side like ours that's a pretty good result.
  14. This is just magic! The comedians on this forum make it well worth returning over and over again.
  15. Just because we appear to have hired an average manager, doesn't suddenly mean the imbecile who managed us previously was in any way competent.
  16. It's posts like this that really cheer you up after a poor performance. Good to know we can still have a laugh and a joke after games like that.
  17. Watford were pretty decent to be fair. Silva looks a good manager. But I see your point, when we play the top teams it's going to be a blood bath. There won't be a single side this season who fear us home or away.
  18. We should start James Ward-Prowse more often.
  19. Got to feel sorry for Pellegrino taking over this team after Puel absolutely destroyed it. Important to remember the carcass that Pellegrino had to take over after CP did his thing.
  20. The arrogance of some of our fans is astonishing. We're a bad team, of course we've got a great chance of going down.
  21. This kind of vicious personal abuse is why this forum has gone downhill.
  22. If the rumours floating around are true about the new owners looking to get rid of Les Reed I think we can all be concerned, and at the same time extremely optimistic and positive, whilst obviously remaining totally gutted and scared.
  23. I think we've all been shown the club's ambitions over the summer by hanging onto our best talent and bringing in some quality. And whilst it's admirable for football clubs to give starting opportunities to local(ish) lads, it's unlikely the club will allow JWP to start in our first team as that's clearly not a strategy which is going to result in winning games of football.
  24. In the clip where for some reason all the players are lined up to hit Cedric as he runs through them, Virgil is getting well involved and had a big smile on his face. He's back baby
  25. Guys Danny Butterfield did a pretty good job for us in League 1, ok he wasn't a world beater but for him to get abuse now on here just for wanting to share some inside information is pretty distasteful. And to suggest he might be autistic is totally uncalled for.
