If you'd prefer to listen to music instead of hearing the Northam or the Itchen corner singing Saints songs, then yeah you're probably happy with the volume of the PA. Drowning out the atmosphere at St Mary's needed to be done? Can you explain that one?

Today must be all about the manner of the defeat rather than the defeat itself. If we come away being beat and having played woefully, MP will feel a lot of pressure and we'll go into Brighton without any confidence. However, get beat by the one goal and have had one or two close chances and we'll feel much better going into the Brighton game. Make them earn their victory Saints.

There's no way in hell we'll be having a promotion push next season. It will take us a couple of years to acclimatise, and it might even require a season or three down in League 1 for us to have a complete clear out and then try and work our way back up. The youngsters coming through now are nowhere near as good as the ones we had on our last journey down in the lower leagues, so it's going to be incredibly tough to get back up after this seasons inevitable relegation.

A shameful decision to sack a woeful, inept, horrific, appalling, embarrassing, pathetic excuse for a manager? Yes, ok then mate. Here's this amazing thing again where because a new appointment is also terrible, the previous employee suddenly becomes better than he was. People on this forum, honestly.

Ref is giving us absolutely everything too.

120 more passes than them. GET IN!!!!

Fraser waits for shots to be taken and then dives in the opposite direction. He's not that bad a goalkeeper. Time for a match fixing investigation if ever there was one.

10th consecutive home league game sold out

Totally. As a club we have lost our backbone. Whether it's giving cheap tickets to away fans, or persisting playing certain 'local lads' who clearly can't play to a decent level, we're just too soft. -
Behind the scenes at Saints on BBC2 tonight

Prowse is a lovely bloke. That has never once been in question. Those who bash the posters telling the truth about JWP seem to forget that not a single negative comment has been made about his character, his effort, or anything that he has ever said. He's a great talker and a kind hearted individual. I'd love him over at Christmas! It's just on a football field, where he is expected to perform his duties as a professional football player, is where it all falls apart. Lovely interview. Cracking smile. He probably dresses well too. But on a pitch? No. It's time for him to move into another line of work. -
Oh god. What is it with this forum and attracting so many people who write such tripe? You think the posters calling for Pelle's return are the same people who were slagging him off? Bring back the old SaintsForever days. Can't remember so many kids/the deluded posting on there.

Two lesbians probably. Sisters. I'm just watching.

If we don't scare at least 2 against this lot then it's time for a panic. Only thing we know now is that even if we win it's going to be a seriously depressing performance.

****'s sake too young, makes you wonder. RIP

That equaliser against the Skates at home was possibly the maddest celebration I've ever been part of. Up there with Viafara/Rasiak away at Derby County. Could barely breathe. Thank you Mr Lambert

Stuart Ripley by a country mile. Put in endless cracking crosses for Kachloul, Pahars and others. Ridiculous how much stick he got. Redmond and McCann aren't anywhere near what Ripley did for us.
-
True. Just a shame the football is as terrible as under the clown who preceded him.
-
Same horrific level as Puel, based on evidence so far. Puel was horrendous, and nothing has changed. And we've had an easy start to the season as well
-
Shocking going forward, no movement, no clue. We are completely toothless. Nothing has changed from the woeful Puel days.
-
It's spelt exactly as it sounds. Mickateareeyan.

Looked fine to me, but if you're right that probably evens it up for the pen Man U should have had against Fellianiniani when Hoedt pulled his shirt
-
Strangely Romeu is looking off the boil.
-
I know they're a good side Saints but FFS can't we send ANYONE forward? Make an attacking run please. Please. I long for the days when even against the top teams we looked exciting going forward. Pre Puel days.

To not start VVD is gross negligence

Unfortunate for Ryan that he found himself on the wrong side of football last night. A tragic result.
