  1. Depay vs Clasie... Needs to bulk up a bit...
  2. Song for Jordy: Classified: That ain't Clasie.
  3. He's signed for United. Does a bit, dunnit...
  4. My iPad battery is 21 per cent. I can't be arsed to go and get the charger. Hopefully he signs before it dies...
  5. I just saw him and he gave me this. Not sure what MFA means though. Could be rude.
  6. I take it we're hoping Celtic lose?
  7. I hear Clasie has put blood to parchment.
  8. I know Liverpool have to give a hefty chunk to QPR, but I see they're still trying to **** on Villa by not paying what Villa want for Benteke. One rule for them...
  9. Looks like this will be announced tomorrow. Great news. Then on to a CB.
  10. Who's she? She's fit.
  11. Just posted on Facebook...
  12. I heard the deal is dead, but it will be resurrected in 3 days. Just like the other JC...
  13. Worked for Nathan Dyer! Link here stating we had one of the tallest teams in the Prem last season. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/tall-short-it-how-premier-4503094
  14. Still think he's too short, you get much more for your money with a Peter Crouch or a Lacina Traore! Seriously will be well pleased with Clasie. The Dutch Xavi, you must have something about you to be called that. The team is getting there. We need the obvious centre back recruit, hopefully Van Dijk, and maybe one more midfield recruit. After that any player we bring in is a squad bonus, like another keeper, another winger or another striker.
  15. Crystal Palace are attempting to sign QPR goalkeeper Alex McCarthy, 25, who has a relegation clause of about £3.5m in his contract. (Times) Sounds like something we should be interested in...
  16. I'd stick Palace in with those teams. Think they will have a good season with a couple more decent signings. I'd love United to buy Kane and Lloris. Give Spurs a taste of their medicine. (and with this post thus ends my self imposed holiday exile!)
  17. I read that as Sturridge (semi-permanently Injured anyway), Lallana, Markovic, Coutinho and Firmino, with the others either out this summer or bit part players. Definitely room for another striker, but they really do need to get rid of a lot of wages.
  18. Yeah and had they held on to him that long they'd have been a stable Prem club for a long time. The fact that they stayed up by the width of the skidmark in their knickers was testament to how good a job he was doing there before being hounded out.
  19. I see it's been revealed that Fabian Delph has a clause in his contract stating he can leave Villa if they receive an £8 million bid, but only for a team in European competition. Worth a stab at that price?
  20. ...and Mayuka and Gazzaniga. It really is **** or bust for Podgers. Blow this money and achieve the usual under performance and he's gone. Personally I hope he succeeds for a shirt time because the longer they have him in charge, the more rot can set in. Someone on RAWK said earlier that the signings they've made (Clyne was included in that) that the players they've signed are good, but need the right coaching...

    Toby

That's perhaps why he needs the money Spurs can offer him - he's married!
  22. I will not be sad to see Clyne go. He's a very good right back as we've seen but he's not irreplaceable, and he did have a Lovren-esque half good season last year. The season before he was made to fight for his place with Chambers, and that upped his game, whereas last season I think he got a little bit content in the knowledge he was our only specialist right back. £12.5 is not bad business for a player with one left on his contract, especially if he's said something to the board about wanting to join them. Get rid. We have Soares and I'm assuming are looking for another young right back as cover (Byram?) as I think I read on here we were after 2 right backs. Failing that get Toby back in and have him filling in when needed as he did last season. I'd rather get Clyne and Morgan out now, before pre-season starts, than have them upsetting the apple cart in training. As for Liverpool, well, the less said about them the better.
  23. The sooner the Clyne and Morgan situations are sorted out the better, then we know where we stand. I'd accept Morgan leaving for Arsenal with good grace, but I'd like to keep hold of Clyne, if he signs a new contract, as him and Soares would make it our strongest position. Then we start bringing in the replacements, whoever they may be, Gueye, Clasie, Imbula, Benassi, Cabaye etc etc
  24. Slattery? He's quite short and he definitely looks older than 16. Who's the dapper dressed chap standing next to him?
  25. I like the sound of this Nyland character from what I read. Seems to have a lot of talent, is tall, and is quite highly rated. Plus he's Young and i wonder if he'd be happy as a number 2 fighting for a place. Plus would give us a decent back up option when Forster comes back. I'd like to think we'd bring in one more, Davis and Gazza as back ups don't fill me with confidence, similar to when we lost Forster last season.
