  1. Willian is a class player, talented and he works so hard for the team too. I know he had temperament issues in the past but he's been ok at Chelsea. But Neymar is something else.
  2. Looking much better this half. Just as long as he doesn't get injured!

    Eder

Ha! There really are two Éders and both strikers too. Link 2 obviously have their wires crossed.
  4. 1-1 now. So far he's misplaced a pass that led to a Brazil chance and just been nutmegged for the Brazil goal. Oops.
  5. For teh womenz and teh gheys, here're Zayns top 5 hair moments... http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/zayn-malik-leaves-one-direction-784384
  6. Knowing Bertrand's luck it'll be a desperate plea to Cole, a late call up for an unfit Flannagan, or shoe horning a past it Lescott into the left back position. There're probably more English left backs I can't think of right now. What would be lolz (though highly unlikely) is Baines and Gibbs pulling out, Roy calling up Bertrand and Ryan telling him to sod off.
  7. Might as well look at Dave Watson if we're looking at keepers that old, at least he's on our books already! I've been looking around and Gerhard Tremmel is out of contract at Swansea in the summer, always looked quite solid, and at 36 won't keep Forster out when he comes back fit.
  8. FFS that long? Sod it, go and get a number 1. Let Forster and the newbie sort it out when Forster is fit again. Davis and (dare I say it) Gazzaniga have got our backs for the last 8 matches. Let's just hope for no collapses when Europa is still in our sights. Lots of work for (hopefully) Koeman in the summer.
  9. Get well ASAP Fraser. New goalie needed in the summer. Someone mid-late 30s. I doubt Boruc would come back.
  10. Dani Osvaldo and Jose Fonte. What do I win?
  11. I just did the predictor thing as honestly and non-Saints-fanny as I could, and it had Saints on 67 points in 6th, one point and one place ahead of Spurs. We were 3 points behind Liverpool in 5th. Top 4 gap was huge. Mind you, the worst team of my predictor were Hull, who avoided relegation on goal difference to Burnley but only just as I predicted them to only get 1 more point for the rest of this season from where they are now.
  12. Would YOU be racist within earshot of Big Vic Wanyama? I know I wouldn't. :-)
  13. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?52882-Martin-Odegaard#.VRCcYYaQGrU I like that Koeman has a knack of looking for good talent that hasn't quite made it elsewhere. Elia, Djuricic, and now Odegaard, though I doubt we'll ever get to see the best of the two we already have, unless we sign them on permanents.
  14. I have an '08 plate Peugeot 207 that I got in early '09. Never gone wrong, and it's not a bad car, but even I admit if I could afford to get something a bit 'cooler', I would. It was the biggest 'small' car on the market (as I believe the 208 is) so it's not quick. If I do chop the car in soon, I'd quite fancy an Octavia or a Focus.
  15. Schools in 2 different counties for me, thanks to boarding school and a music scholarship. Kings Court First School, Old Windsor, Berkshire. New College, Oxford. Bearwood College, Wokingham. University was Brunel in Uxbridge but I dropped out so I don't count that.
  16. I can see us getting a win at Sunderland, but 6th/7th could come down to the Saints/Spurs game. I'd happily take 6th though as it would guarantee us European football and would mean finishing above one of the big boys. 5th would be a dream, I don't think we are still in the top 4 hunt though, but stranger things have happened.
  17. There's an International Manager? I'm still playing Championship Manager.
  18. I see MOTD kept mentioning Vokes and his ties to Southampton, but don't Vokes, Ings and Jutkiewicz all have ties to Saints? Is Vokes the biggest Saints fan, or the only Saints fan of the three? What is the history of each to us?
  19. This. If Arsenal don't want him, snap him up. Has been very good for West Ham this season. There's not a lot of right backs in the Premier League that could be available in the summer IMO. Richards, is one. He has the added plus of being able to play centre back too, but is he the pacy right back that can get up the flank a la Clyne or Chambers? Then there's Raphael, who will probably leave United. Hasn't played much this season because of a broken cheekbone but still a good age and has good experience. Then there's poaching a near rival's right back. Janmaat from Newcastle for example.
  20. I reckon there'll be a MOTM performance from Forster. #wishfulthinking I know Koeman was going with an attacking line up against Burnley and was trying not to risk Wanyama's yellow card situation but Wanyama will start against Everton IMO. Hopefully we get everyone fit back from International duty. Everton are very Jekyll and Hyde this season. God knows which way it will go.
  21. Put Watson in. He was a decent keeper for me on Championship Manager '97 back in the day.
  22. Delends how long Forster is out for. If it's long term, we're going to need to look for a keeper good enough as first choice. My guess would be an ageing keeper that is still good enough but wouldn't possess a long contract.
  23. Some decent keepers in our league. Begovic, Krul, Guzan. But we'd probably end up plucking one from the foreign leagues.
  24. http://www.bournemouth.vitalfootball.co.uk/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=68693 They seem as clued up about the situation as we are.
