I'd love us to sign Phillips and rub it in Holloway's weasly face.

I was just re-iterating it. I got caught up in the excitement yesterday, I've read every page of this thread! (I cannot say the same for the Skates thread, although I did try initially.) Even dreams aren't THAT good. I would take One CB and one Winger as a minimum but maybe it's our just reward for years of faithful support... I'd use Hedgehog's time machine to move to 11pm on August 31st. This could be the longest 2 weeks of our lives.

Lee Barnard to Bournemouth on loan - Confirmed
SNSUN replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Skates still got a point though, won't mean anything when they're folded though. If I were a League One manager, I'd rest my star players knowing that particular result won't count at the end of the season! -
I do think we'll get tonked tomorrow but at least we've got a few friends down the bottom end of the table. I maintain that 2 or 3 points after the first 4 games would be brilliant, any more than that would be fantastic.

Horses head in the Bologna chairman's bed? Would that work?

Scored today. I get the feeling I'm going to miss the lower leagues this season. I loved the football down there, the feeling we can win every week, and where the likes of Forte are actually good. Good for him.

YES!!!!! GET THE **** IN THERE !!!!!! Nice one LEE!!! -
18-19th as it stands, but if this really is my only prediction, then I have faith in the club and their potential to make the right signings before September and in January, and so I'll predict 14-16th.

He works for the club whilst shopping in Tesco? Is he the players' personal shopper? :-)

note to self. Never copy and paste using an HTC.

http://www.sportingpreview.com/football2012/2012201.php They're talking on this site like it's a done deal. Only a matter of time perhaps?

Summer 2012 HCDAJFU Thread - Premier League Special Edition
SNSUN replied to Jimmy_D's topic in The Saints
In other transfer news (I'm sure it must have been mentioned at the start of summer) Jose Bosingwa joins QPR. Good signing for them, I might have to raise my expectations of them this season. Kevin Mirallas is poised to join Everton. A good signing for them if it goes through. Belgian international winger for £6million. Is Ramirez twice as good for the money? One can only hope so. (If it goes through of course, touching wood.) -
Hey, if this doesn't go through, at least we can assume we have a big transfer budget...
-
Me too. In the formations thread the other day I said we didn't have decent wide players so I'd pick a narrower formation. These two would completely alter that, and my perception of where we'll finish this season.

He's 46 and retired in 1994. Not really what we're looking for. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andr%C3%A9_Kana-Biyik Oh that's his Dad. Good pedigree then. I take it it's this guy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean-Armel_Kana-Biyik? Bullet Header:

I'm playing Markus like we play the nuns on match day, such is my wont for this transfer to go through. I bet he'd have loved today's goings on.
-
Even if the purpose of this was to make us all excited and optimistic ahead of the new season, it's worked. I'm excited even to be linked with him, and some of the other names being touted on here today. To think it wasn't so long ago that we signed Nicolas Bignall on loan. (Just a name I've plucked from memory, nothing against him per se.)
-
Ramirez will sign on page 34. I can feel it in my bone.
-
If it helps, I love Spag Bol.

His transfer from Southampton Airport Parkway to St Marys has officially been called off. Cortese has booked him a hire car instead.
-
I support this thread. (Loan? Surprising.)

The new Skacel, thus replacing him with "that" joke for the next six or so years... Fox and Shaw worried me at first, especially with Shaw being the unknown entity, but the management must have faith in the nipper and Arsenal and co must see something in him. Seaborne can play left back anyway! :-D
