I can't remember who said it recently, but they said that before long it'll be a similar set of clubs yo-yoing between the nPC and the Premiership due to the finances of club because of the parachute payments. That sounds true to me, so perhaps one day there'll be a step up even within the same league (nPC).

Lol a week of wooting and celebration and we finish 3rd. It won't happen of course, records would have to be broken, but it'd be the most almighty balls up in the history of the world if it happened! No sendings off and no injuries and it'll be a great day out.

I'd be great to see Adam in his natural habitat at St Mary's against Norway, but I'm working. I hope he does go to Denmark and show everyone his class.

Huddersfield deserve it, they really do, but I think it would be funny to see Bournemouth go up. They're the most overachieving team in the play-offs, and I would imagine they'd struggle next season in a similar way that I see Norwich struggling in the league above. That said, the majority will probably say Huddersfield or Bournemouth, but Posh will always score the goals when they need them. THAT said - it'll be MK Dons. :-)

An easy chance of Wembley with the JPT. Excitement. Making Premiership attendances look cack compared to a League One club. Playing clubs we haven't played in years. Aside from that nothing springs to mind. I've been desperate to see us get back to the Championship, I really enjoyed our spell there. I don't even care about the Premiership, as long as we don't sink from the nPC anytime soon. Or ever, ever again. :-)

What a whinging little ******pants. For someone who has done an undoubtedly good job this season, he really knows how to arse it all up by opening his big flappy mouth. And Brighton fans have the cheek to taunt Adkins...

For such a magnificent team effort this season - I'm suprised to see the two players run away with it. Team of the season will be more intesting IMO. (But probably quite simple to predict)

Mathmatically (yeah I hate that word too) we still need a point. Screw Walsall (no offence) but we really should be winning this and winning this handsomely. It'd top the season off, it'd mathmatically guarantee us promotion, it'd make us look better in the league table, it'd improve our goal difference to make us the best goal difference in all the leagues (as has been pointed out), AND it'd give us a fantastic run of form to build on for next season. I'd like to see Morgan with a game too, make him feel part of the party!

I am moist at the thought of reaching our buying potential for the nPC! Even in League One, we were signing players no other team could dream about - now we're in the Championship, with the financial backing we have, the set up we have and the potential we have, I literally cannot wait for the summer to begin, and this thread has just whetted my appetite! I am of the opinion we do need to strengthen centre back. Just one player, Seaborne and Martin are unproven at this level, and as much as a legend Jaidi has become, there are some doubts, in my mind at least, over his fitness for a full Championship season. He's a good back-up to have, but I wouldn't be suprised to see a permanent partner for Fonte come in. Left back seems to be a solid position, even if Mills leaves, but at right back I haven't been impressed with Richardson. I know he has experience at this level, but so does Butterfield, and I know who I'd rather keep. I'd like to see a properly quick attacking full back come in, though of course of a quality better than Otsemobor, and of a bit more experience than young Jack Stephens. In central midfield we have quality in Morgan, engines in Chaplow and Hammond and youth in Stephens, but will the loan be made permanent? Who knows, but I'd love to see a quality creative player come in. Left midfield we have Lallana, a dead cert if he's fit, but with Holmes crocked and (I wouldn't be suprised) possibly let go this summer, another left midfielder to allow Adam to roam to other positions would be a good move. Right midfield is taken by Oxo, but I've not been that impressed with Guly playing wide. A back up right winger, or if Oxo goes (which again I'd be suprised unless it was a financial move) a first choice winger could come in. Attack is fine I believe, Forte, Lambert, Barnard and Connolly should be more than a match for the Championship, but with doubts still over Connolly's fitness and Forte's prowess, perhaps a quality striker is needed. Trying to decide who we should sign is a toughie, so I'll leave it up to you. I would like to see Antonio back though, even though we'd be competing in a higher league I think he's be a good investment for ther future.

Keeping Oxo would be a real statement of intent IMO , but I reckon next season should be a consolidation season in preparation for a push towards promotion in 2012-13.

Despite a few *****s on their forum, by and large they've been very gracious in defeat of second spot. They've really given it their all to try and overtake us, but we wouldn't be denied. Great form from both teams, and it's really lit up League One this season. Both teams better than Brighton IMO. (;-)) I said it before the season (I'd go back and try to find the posts if I weren't so lazy) that Huddersfield are the team I was most worried about. This has been proved. Form teams usually win the play-offs - they have form in BUCKETLOADS.

League One we hardly knew ye, we didn't want to know ye. We hope we never have to know ye ever again. nPC here we come!!!

I should be more excited, but since the Brighton game I've already accepted we would be promoted. Still ****ing happy and excited though! Looking forward to Saturday now - 3 more points and a FANTASTIC end to the season!

This forum is terrible. I was expecting it today but this is the slowest it's ever been! Anyway - WOO HOO!!!! Going up up up!!!! I must admit I've been very impressed with Trump this week. Sometimes I think he lacks concentration, but then he goes and sinks a century break. His ball potting is phenomenal and he can only get better. Higgins though is in great form, and as much as I hate him, my money would be on him to win, but I will be supporting Trump.

Looks like Wotsit. Shouldn't he be at Franchise?
