You can also turn off 'Mobile view' in your internet settings which stops your phone going to mobile versions of internet sites. I don't think Saints Player works though, I've tried it. (and I have a desire.)

Nope that's 'I'm forever blowing bubbles'. This was a Michael Buble joke.
-
Should never have signed him then. We're clearly not taking this competition seriously. Adkins out. (Lallana then. Let's not let Di Canio gloat afterwards.)
-
What a l'eau'd of rubbish...
-
Puncheon then.
-
A team along the lines of: Bart, Butters, Martin, Seaborne, Harding De Ridder, Chaplow, Morgan, Fox Guly Connolly would do me. Win please. 2-0
-
I'm forever blowing bubles. I don't think he minds. (The bubble hasn't burst, I'm still enjoying this season and will continue to do so, win, lose or draw.)
-
Dann Dann he's our man, if he can't do it, Seaborne can. Work's dull today.
-
Adam Lallana - England's future No. 10, winner of the World Cup 2018. (Still as a Saints player...)
-
Personally he's the striker I'd love to see us bring in. Young, talented, can improve, inexpensive, started the season well, and as a Saints fan would have both a great will to win for the team and possibly wouldn't mind initially about sitting on the bench. If the J Rod deal goes through, great, but I'd love to see L J in a Saints shirt.

Promotion. Always aim for the best. You never know. Quite simply, if the right players aren't available or fiscally sensible to buy now, wait until January or even next summer for better options, and cover the missing positions with loans. Just because we have a couple of days left until the deadline, we shouldn't be bullied into paying stupid money, we don't want administration again. Cortese has to be careful, it's not his money he's spending. I won't be crying if we don't make the play-offs this season. A push for the Premiership should really happen next season. Promotion this season would be a massive bonus though, but I feel another season at this level, building in readiness for the Premiership, would see us better equipped to deal with it, rather than going up and coming straight back down.

Can't Morgan also play centre back? I seem to remember reading about it when he signed. Chris Baird was a rarity, moving into the centre and doing well. I don't think Richardson's even that good in the position he's supposed to be good in. As has been said, Butterfield is the better right back imo.
-
No. Cork is more useful in midfield. I'd still rather have Butterfield at right back. I haven't seen Richardson this season but he didn't fill me with confidence last season. Next game is the Carling Cup, so all change anyway.
-
Connolly's 34. It's a lot to ask of him to play every game in a season, and we don't know what's going to happen with Barnard. We need a striker as well as a CB.

On the way / just got home from the game thread...

"Just got he from the game thread" Ooh, who did you pull? -
We released him when he was 13. I think it's fair to say it was too early to tell how good he'd become. Get him on the bus ffs.
-
12 million profit in the bank, now let's do something with it.

Yes we need a CB and a striker, but not for gay money. Spend it wisely - there is a window in January. Let's ruin Coventry. Bring in Jutkiewicz and Crainie. Watch them burn. (No vendetta, just for shyts and giggles.) -
Jutkiewicz in please! My choice for striker. Scored again today too. Chelsea signed Lukaku who's a Chelsea fan, I just think signing a decent, young striker who's also a Saints fan would be a good move. Not expensive either. Gawd knows who for centre back. Good performances today from the subs it sounds, De Ridder and Fox were really staking their claim for a first team spot. I don't like sticking Cork at right back, but with 4 good central midfielders, could this be an option for the future? How we bounce back from this is key. Swindon could be in for an arse whopping, especially if we start Fox and De Ridder.
-
Crap first half, superb second half. Need a centre back to solidify things, and a striker to put away the chances we had in the second half. Do that, and we'll walk this league. A good defeat, if there is such a thing, because it will bring the lads down to earth, and yet we gave a very spirited performance in a game that could have got away from us. We've showed we're not pushovers, and hey, we're still in the promotion spots. Shame it's behind Brighton - they'll love that.
-
Ipswich now winning. Massive relief for them I reckon, Andrews scores again! Is he the only one that cares? 3 gilt edged chances for us. No goals. Come on Saints, Fox doing well.
-
This is ours for the taking! Make the pressure count lads. There's even time for 2, not that I'm greedy.
-
Harding off for Fox
-
:-( The people have spoken.
-
Jutkiewicz scores again for Cov. Sign him up. De Ridder wins another corner.
