As much as it's propah nawty to bet against your team, having a cover bet at 5-1 on Huddersfield doing it is an excellent back up. Saints win, we celebrate through the summer, Huddersfield do it, and you've paid for your season ticket next season AND still with the possibility of going up through the play-offs. I won't though, cuz it's nawty.

Looking forward to this - I'm betting £200 on a Hartlepool win or a draw, that way I'll be happy with the outcome whatever happens, I'll be molesting a lady or two in the bogs, and I'm going to chuck a pie at the Hartlepool bus. I may even streak onto the pitch during a Hartlepool attack. Or maybe I'll just be a good person and support the team I love in a normal, non-controversial manner.

This, it's actually been offline for the last two days as I tried to buy my ticket for Hartlepool around Saturday lunchtime. I did email them but, quite unsuprisingly, no reply. I expect a big turn out, similar to the Boxing Day Exeter game last season. Good weather, the Brighton result, the bank holiday and the prospect of seeing us one step closer to promotion should ensure this. I'll try the hotline tomorrow morning.

Win all 46 games next season and we'll be in the Premier League. Yay!

This. The whole purpose of this season was to get out this ****hole of a league. We are very well placed to get second now, but winning the play-off final would still get us out of League One, and thus would be acceptable. Going up as Champions is a perk, but it's not the be all and end all. Lack of promotion, and losing our better players, is unthinkable.

Hartlepool started well today but then switched off. They have naff all to play for so we should run this. We will, 2-0. I hope to be there, if the online system bloody gets fixed.

When people were doing the predictions, a lot of people had this down as a defeat, but I was always confident we could pick something up against Brighton, but to do it in the way we did was fantastic. I think we were helped a bit by Brighton already having procured the title, but a very important three points to take us back to second, a big confidence boost for us, and a psychological blow for Huddersfield. Chuffed to bits.

Brentford will be a toughie, but picking up an unexpected but lovely 3 points here today should take the burden off our shoulders. Huddersfield's match with Brighton next week is MASSIVE for us - yes it's still in our hands, but a Brighton win would all but put us up, I feel we can pick up results no matter how arse we are. Very happy today.
