    Davis

I agree, his shot stopping was top drawer on Saturday, but he did very nearly put us in the shyte with on of his throws. Still, without his saves we wouldn't have won. It's comfortable to know that if Kelvin does screw up big time, we have a good young keeper in reserve.
  2. Tough draw but we can still win it. If it's played on the Saturday I can't go, so SUNDAY PLEASE!!!
  3. First proper chance I've had for internet access since the game on Saturday - a good win, not a great performance, and we were indebted to Kelvin for some good saves, but a win's a win. Their keeper made a great double save, but there was no stopping young Alex, a great cameo, had his second gone in instead of hitting the post, it would've been goal of the season for sure. Davis: A couple of great saves, and unlucky not to stop their goal. 7 Butterfield. Solid if unspectacular. 6 Harding. Poor performance today from one of my favourite players. I think he only got forward once, in the second half, and looked shaky defensively. 5 Fonte. A good performance, a couple of chances, but was quite suprised when he got MOTM. 7 Seaborne. The bloke next to me thought he was Morgan for some reason, commenting on his good performance. It was a good performance for me, and his distribution was good IMO. 7 Puncheon. Despite his shot that hit the post, did little to suggest he put more effort in. Was rightly subbed. 5 Lallana. Kept possession well, and was better in the second half. 7 Morgan. MOTM for me, was everywhere, him and Chaplow were running midfield together, a great little pairing. 8 Chaplow. Close run second for my MOTM, worked his socks off and didn't look like tiring. 8 Lambert. Off the pace, was suprised he started, last season's shot would've stayed under the bar. 6 Guly. I was one of the first people to stand up when he went off, great touches, looked class. He's not a striker but looks like he's the creativity we need. Good performance. 8 Barnard. Put himself about well. 7 The O.C. Awesome cameo. Another talent to ease the pain of any potential Lallana sale. (God I hope we keep them all!) 8 Hot Wotty Botty. Solidified the defence, and I seem to remember being impressed by one of his passes. 6
  4. Is it just me, or is anyone else worried by Lee's hotheadedness? I noticed today when a decision went against him, incorrectly so I mustard mitt, he screamed red faced at the ref. Having seen him sent off against Swindon, and hearing about his bar brawl, does he need to tone it down? I'm all for passion for the game, but it worries me he'll see red again if he keeps it up.
  5. Agree. Can't stand him, unfunny ****er that thinks he's better than he is.
  6. Swindon for me. Same line up as last week, but with Morgan replacing Hammond and Barnard replacing Punch. :-) 3-0 the Saints.
  7. No. I'm going, to me it's still a magical feeling walking into SMS to see your heroes play. When we win, it's even sweeter. Shiftwork limits the number of games I can watch, so I grab whatever chance I get with aplomb. Plus I want to text vote my MOTM.
  8. Opportunistic theft is the most irritating. I once went drinking, took a book as I had to wait for my mate to turn up, and someone nicked it. I'll never know how The Shining finished.
  9. Sang in the Sydney Opera House, Royal Albert Hall and other amazing places. Got laid. Ruined my liver through binge drinking. Ummm, that's about it.
  10. If only! I'm ticket office. CJD - rad cow disease.
  11. Cheeks. (my sister has hamster cheeks)
  12. +1.
  13. I was 30 last Monday. Cheers for forgetting gits! :-) TBF I was planning on doing something special, then as I approached 30, I realised it wasn't so important after all, and just went and got drunk instead. Which is special to me, I guess, as it happens a lot less than it used to.
  14. I'd have told him it was 2009. He might've played like he did last season. I wish him the best, I forget things too after a heavy session.

    Gay saints Fans?

I've been going out with a fat, ugly, smelly, Norwich supporting woman for nearly five years. Trust me, there's many downsides to being straight. Kudos to the op for your bravery, but you should have no worries on here. We're all brothers and sisters because we support Saints. I would imagine you'd have more worries if you were a Liverpool fan on a Liverpool forum, the few I know are cretins.
  16. This first quarter will be the worst quarter of this season.

    Striker

Our first three strikers are,in my opinion, better than any in the division. But Connolly is injury prone, Lambert's out of form and Barnard, whilst our most in form striker, has seemingly been dropped due to off the field indiscretions. Loans will plug the gaps but we need a major striker signing in January if we're to even think of hitting the play-offs. Adkins will know this, let's hope Cortese has the funds to support him.
  18. Could've gone above Huddersfield, can go above Oldham next week. Must you this as an incentive. Play-offs are still possible though, One or two teams will be too strong for us to beat to the auto spots this season IMO, but a long road ahead yet.
  19. I'll be at Oldham next week. I hope for better things.
  20. We could play until Huddersfield players fall asleep on the pitch and we wouldn't score. Blow the whistle, Adkins, sign some strikers in January and a creative midfielder please.
  21. Boom shake shake shake the room
  22. Time for Bignall to show what he's worth. This 30 minutes will define his career for Saints fans.
  23. Mmm, Gathia Mix, this last two hours hasn't been completely wasted.
