Now it's just the Bournemouth commentary. Just me?

I've got a headache. Two commentarys does not equal twice the value.

Ja, das ist richtig.

Many, though not all, Man U fans are glory supporters anyway, certainly a lot of the younger generation who have known Man U only as a title-winning, or potential title-winning, side. Ok, a few of the die hard fans that converted to FCUM fans will stick to their guns, but it's no suprise that many would rather be supporting a team that wins 90% or so of their games, than one stuck in the nether regions of English football. I don't agree with the point behind FCUM anyway, your team is your team, no matter who is in charge and what is happening to the club. It's a tad petty running off and founding your own club, IMO. If a club goes out of business and starts again in non-League, that'd be acceptable, as it's technically still your club, (a similar thing happened to Slough Town when they were in the Vauxhall Conference), and I understand the frustrations of the Wimbledon fans having their club moved miles away starting their own league, but with FCUM I'm not sure. Protest, sure, but is starting a whole new team necessary? I doubt it.

Again, I mean. :-) He's a quality strike short of goalscoring confidence - his strike against Daggers that went over the bar would probably have gone in last season, had he sunk it, it's most likely have started a run of form for him. It'll come, fortunately we have another striker that can poach goals. Barnard and Lambert are a good combo up front, and with Lallana they make a potent attacking threat.

If we get promoted this season, I'm confident in keeping our better players, but keeping them a further season would depend on direct promotion to the Premiership. I can't see it happening sadly (promotion to the Premiership at the first attempt I mean), so instead of worrying about losing the quality younger players eventually, I'll just think about how good they are for us now.

You've swung me. Adkins for MOTM.

Stay put. You're 26, having a loving girlfriend in your life as it stands is far more important than furthering your career. You have 40 odd years to try furthering your career, other oportunities will come along. I turned 30 recently, and while I've never made much of my life career-wise, I don't think I could've turned 30 without the love of a good woman. Mind you, that's just my opinion - I like being comfortable in a relationship. Do what's in your heart, but I know I'd rather look back on my life knowing I gave up a good job opportunity than a good woman.

Whilst I do agree, irrespective that none of us were alive 125 years ago, it was still part of our history. I started supporting Saints in '89, but I still study up on the years before that. It's akin to people 'celebrating' Guy Fawkes night, none of us were alive but we still celebrate it. Ok, I just read that back and it doesn't quitre make sense, but you can see the logic in it... :-)

Whilst I couldn't make the game on Tuesday due to illness, even on the highlights it showed Richardson getting forward twice, and whipping in a good ball for one of them. He's been out for ages, but he'll come good. I saw him play for Leeds and he looked promising then - and this is the League One right back of the season from last year, he can't go bad overnight. I agree though that if Butterfield is fit (which he hasn't been), then play him in the more important games, until Richardson gets up to speed, but Richardson will become out permanent right back IMO.
-
He's a better than average right back, but Richardson is the future. Butterfield is solid at the back, but Frazer supposedly is too, and Frazer has the edge in attack. We're lucky, we've gone from plugging right back gaps last season with Semi, Thomas, James and Murty to having two good right backs.
-
I think it was more of a case of him HAVING to be a utility player to plug the gaps in the team they had. Had they strength in depth, he'd probably have been their number 1 right back. His hattrick against Wolves was, well, unbelievable quite frankly.
-
The best way to describe the new kit is that I'm used to it now, but it would ruin its uniqueness if we were to keep the sash for longer than just this year. Back to the stripes next season please, they make me look thinner. Ahem.
-
Nope, it's a noun so it would be Andrew Davies.
-
Oh, 2nd round I'd want the fake Man U, then in the 3rd round I'd want to play the proper Man U. :-)
-
Fairly strong line up IMO. Bart - Gives Davis a break, I don't have a shred of worry about Bart covering. Frazer - Still needs match fitness Martin - A welcome run out for him I would think, having been out for a while Seaborne - To keep some familiarity in the back four. Dickson - Gives Harding a break and Ryan can show what he can do. The OC - undroppable after that performance on Tuesday. A chance to show his skills on the bigger stage. (Televisually-wise) Chappers - if Preston let us play him, I'd keep him in. Morgan - as he was dropped on Tuesday he should be fresh. Puncheon - That's right, on the left, and it gives Lallana a break. Guly - Skillz McGrillz Lambert - Play him until he scores from open play, dammit! subs: Davis, Harding, Jaidi, Hammond, Lallana, Barnard, Wotton. Big win IMO, I know it's the FA cup and upsets happen but I really can't see it.

I am of the opinion that while all teams that get promoted need some strengthening, starting strongly in the league above is best accomplished with a settled side. I think we'd all be suprised by just how many of our players would cut it at the higher level. Hammond? Maybe he's never player higher than League One, but that's not to say he can't make the step up. While there's less of a jump in quality between League One and Championship than there is from the Championship to the Premiership, the style of football is still a bit different, and players that do an average to good job in this league, may make the step up in the nPC. There must be a reason why Donny keep signing our reserves. We'd also start as the underdogs in the Championship, which hopefully would mean fewer teams park the bus in front of the goal, which means more chances to score. (Hopefully I'm right on that one.) Positionally, my only concern would be at Centre back (whether Seaborne or Martin could make the step up in partnering Fonte), at Left back, and as to whether Harding or Dickson could own the left side, and up front, where we are weak in numbers (though not weak in quality). That said, even with the current team (with Chappers and Gools on full contracts), I'd be confident of a mid-table finish. (And yes, that means I think we're strong enough to go up this season.) Promotion is imperative though, if we don't want to lose Alex, Adam, Morgan, Fonte, Lambert etc etc

The first of seven consecutive awards imo.

Let Shrewsbury say whatever they like, let us do our talking with a professional job on the pitch on Saturday.
-
As much as I want to believe it was deliberate, it seems a touch of hit and hope. It's almost as if it was such a good hit, I can't believe it was intended. Watching the highlights, I was trying to see if he looked up but couldn't see it. If it was deliberate, it was a ******* hell of a hit. Will his first be given as a keeper own goal? I flaming hope not.
-
Yes, can I help you?

+1. First maximum. Fat lot of good it does me, pages and pages down the league.
-
First ten points for me on the prediction league too, I've been useless all season, who thought I'd get my first maximum with a 4-0 win! Sounds like Chappers had another good game. Hope we can keep him.
-
Doing a good job with the players he inherited. Bringing in Chaplow was a good move too, Bignall too - he saw we were short of cover in those areas and did something about it. Good feeling around the club at the moment I should think. How he handles Oxo's rise to fame will speak volumes about his managerial credentials - by all means play him, but look after him too.
