A good point all told. Keeps us top, and boy did it sound like we had to battle hard. Burnley are a decent team - their league position isn't true to where they'll be at the end of the season - and a forward line of Austin and Rodriguez would be one I would love for Saints.Well done Morgan. Still top of the league then - good news. Cardiff away will be very tough though. Let's hope Adam finds his goalscoring touch by then.

Lallana could have a hattrick today. :-( Draw is no shame. Game over.
-
Come on Saints - I'd rather have a draw than a loss tbf, but there's no reason we can't nick it. Connolly IMO.

He plays on the lefffffffft, he plays on the righhhhhhhhhht.......
-
Come on Saints - still time to smash 'em!
-
Fox really does sound good in attack. Harding left back, Fox left midfield when Harding's fit?
-
MORGAN!!!! I was going to bloody bet on him to score today as well. Cockle. Let's win it!!!
-
Come on Saints! Surely time for De Ridder...
-
Ok lads, I'm going all out here for an early Saints goal: PARROT NUN!
-
YES!!! DO IT!! Although I hate them a lot less than I did, I still hate them.
-
Sounds all action so far... I reckon Burnley could play this a bit dirty, a first goal would really help us. Keep it tight at the back, I feel confident this team will always nick a goal or two.

COME ON YOU SAINTS!!! Any win would be luvverly, I don't care if it's a scrappy 1-0 with the goal coming off Guly's bum. I'll even take a draw, if it's a case of going 3 down and pulling back with the last kick on the clock.

I nearly bet on Saints to score 4 or more goals in this fixture, but then head overruled heart. If we do score 4, I'm banging brain senseless.

This cup is definitely not our priority but we keep winning! Going out to a big team in the next round would be no shame at all, but I'd like to think we'd give them a game. With all the B teams being fielded, I wonder if our A team could win this competition? Man City's B team looks impressive though!

A victory's a victory. Still reckon we need a loan striker to fill the gaps until Barnard reappears.Liverpool at Anfield in next round imgo.
-
We haven't played West Ham or Middlesbrough yet. 6 points against them could sway me. We also need 3 points against Leicester at home, just to even things out.
-
WDWLDDD 10 POINTS imo, but while I'm trying not to wear rose tinted specs, we could have a few more points than that on current form...

I'd give anything to have been to the games this season - I tend to make 12 or so home games a year and the odd away. This season thus far, I have been working for every. single. game. I still aim to see a few in the coming weeks, but finances do come into it. As well as the ticket (or tickets if I persuade my missus to come), there's the food and drink that a day out brings, and the half a tank of petrol to consider.

Is David Connolly, 34, better than Kevin Phillips, 38?
SNSUN replied to Giordano's topic in The Saints
Form is temporary, class is permanent. It's a shame we never saw the best of Phillips. At the time, with an FA Cup final appearance under our belts, and with a spot in the UEFA cup to boot, I thought we were ready to push on, and Phillips's signing would have been a sign of that push. Sadly one thing led to another, and the FA Cup, and the signing of Phillips, proved to be a false dawn. As for the Connolly/Phillips debate, I have to say I never expected to see Connolly playing regular football again, but wow if he hasn't seemingly put his injury troubles behind him. As an all rounder, Connolly is the better player, but Phillips is a goal scoring machine. As an aside, I'm playing CM2003 atm, and Connolly (then at West Ham) is miles better than Phillips (who was with Saints). I sell Phillips as soon as I can (and Delgado and McCann, and I do my utmost to sign Connolly! (nigh on impossible) -
If we get back to the Premiership this season or next, I don't envisage a reason why Lallana would ever leave the club. His loyalty and talent could see us utter his name in the same breath as Le God. Still the future is unwritten, and with so much money in the game, it's very hard to keep someone if your club isn't successful. Let's just hope the good times for us just keep on coming. As for the forum banner, yes please.

I would personally welcome Rupert Lowe back with open arms. Then kick him in the nuts while he's off guard. Cortese may have faults, but everything he's done for the club has been right for us. The feel-good factor, the personnel, and the table speak for itself.

A massive w00t of the very highest order - a fantastic win. I may have no points on the prediction league but I couldn't care less. Great win against a very fancied Birmingham. I just can't see this good feeling subsiding. Yes, we'll have a bad spell or two, but we're really setting ourselves up well for the rest of the season. Only 3 shots on target too according to the Beebs stats, and we go and score 4 goals. That shows the clinical finishing nature of the team at the moment. Nigel Adkins is a genius. Thank you Mr Liebherr for making us all feel happy again.

My personal 2011 has been shyte, frankly. Saints are making it more than bearable.

I have an email account of about 7 years standing with Yahoo, which I've just found out has been hacked, as the few contacts I had in my address book have been getting emails from "me" with links to, I assume, dodgy websites. Where do I go from here? Do I abandon the account, or simply change my password?

24th at the mo. I thought I'd be higher, with my front two of Rooney and Aguero banging in hattricks, but apparently the rest of my team is arse. How're you doing?
